The Unexpected Love

Chapter 2

Kate's POV

Oh My D! I was really so excited when Dad and Mom said that we're actually going to the concert. This is really a dream come true. And now, we're heading to buy the tickets.

 So we quickly changed ourselves and as we finished, we rushed downstairs and run toward the car and we climbed aboard. Then Dad turned the key, and the engine starts.

"Okay. Off we go." Dad said.

So, we got there in just an hour ago or less.

Dad already found a parking place for the car, and it takes so long to find one. But, it doesn't matter anymore. The matter is we're already here, all we have to do is to buy the tickets and tour the place.

We went ourselves in and headed to the ticket counter.

When we're already there, we saw the line is so long. But, there's no choice but to wait, and we're already here. And I know, Mom and Dad wouldn't ever take away what they just said.

As we step toward, we heard the two girls in front of us talking to each other about Darren.

They said " Uy, si Darren daw yung nagbebenta ng ticket ngayun at tsaka pwede daw makipag-selfie."

"That's why the line is so long." Mom said as we heard what the two girls said.

I wanted to shout and jump in gladness but I can't, I don't want to disturb everybody. So I just followed the line and wait for our turn.

And at last, we're already next. As I look at the counter I saw Darren, he was cuter in personal than in picture.

"Hello po Ma'am and Sir."Darren politely said.

"Hello Darren." Mom and Dad said. 

"We'd like to buy tickets on your Birthday Concert." Dad said.

"Ahm, yes po. Anong ticket po ba?" Darren asked.

"The VVIP ones please." Mom requested. 

"Ilan po?" Darren asked.

"4 only." Dad replied.

I starred Darren the whole time and I don't even know what they are saying. But ones I heard VVIP I was shocked.  

"Wait, VVIP?" I asked.

"Yes Kate! We'll be having the VVIP ones." Mom said.

"Oh cool!" Kurline said.

"Yeah right!" I agreed.

Mom already paid the tickets.

"Kate can you handle tickets?" Mom asked.

"Ahm, me?" I asked.

"Yes darling you." Mom said. 

"Ahm, okay."

"Ma'am here are your tickets." Darren said handling the tickets waiting for someone to grab it.

I grabbed the tickets carefully and then I'd just realized that his starring at me.

His eyes are so bright and his cheeks are turning red.

And then Kurtline quickly break the moment. I saw her handling her cellphone and already taking selfies with Darren.

"What the?" I muttered.

"Ikaw ba hindi ka ba magpapa-picture sa akin?" Darren asked.

"Ahm, syempre magpapa-picture." I said blushing.

I take my cellphone out and ready to take a selfie with him.

"Feel the moment!" Kurtline whispered in my ear. 

"I will." I whispered back.

I stepped forward to the counter and raised my cellphone up while Darren is behind my back. I gave my best smile and then *click click click* as I pressed the button.

After, I put down my cellphone at the top of the counter to put the tickets in my Mom's bag.

"Thank you for buying my tickets for D' Birthday Concert. It means a lot to me." Darren said. 

"Your always welcome and thank you also for the selfie." I said.

"Ahm, by the way. May I know your name?" He asked.

"Ofcourse. My name is Lovely Kate Garcia but you can call me Kate." I said blushing again.

"Kate! Kate. Kate thank you again for buying the tickets and hope to see you on the D' Birthday Concert." He said it blushing.

"Kate let's go now. Say good bye to your puppy love now." Dad said winking. 

"Dad!" I said. 

"Why? It's true naman eh." Dad said laughing.

I'm sure that Darren had heard it and I was shy a little.

"Okay Darren bye, for now." I said. 

"Okay bye Kate." Darren said.

After that, we went Jollibee and dined in. We also tour the place and after, we went ourselves home.

As we got home, I kiss and hug my Mom and Dad.

"Thanks again Mom and Dad. You always make our day."

"Thanks Mom and Dad for all." Kurtline said joining me hugging Mom and Dad.

"Your welcome girls. It's our job to make you girls happy." Dad said.

"Okay now. Off to bed it's pretty late now." Mom commanded.

"Okay Mom." I said.

"Good night." Kurtline said.

"Good night Mom. Good night Dad." I said. 

"Good night." Mom and Dad said.

So, we did as what we were told. We quickly changed our clothes and we collapsed in our own beds.

"Sweet dreams." Kurtline said.

"You too." I said.

And then, my eyes automatically closed.

Darren's POV

While I'm selling tickets for my upcoming concert, there was a family who's going to buy tickets.

As I handled my hand to give the tickets, I saw this beautiful girl named Kate and she was the one who grab it.

I starred her so much because of her pleasant look.

We took a lot of selfies. I'm so glad meeting her. And I also want to see her in personal again.

And that's what we called LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!
