The Unexpected Love

Chapter 4

A/N: Sorry if I don't really update that much. So, I'll try my best to update as much as I can. Okay Bye! For now! Hope you'll enjoy this crappy chaptie.

Kate's POV

Buzzz.....buzzz.....buzzz

"Oh, what the? Stupid alarm." I said with my morning voice.

I turned off the alarm on top of my drawer beside my bed.

"But, I still want to sleep." I said with my morning voice.

I tried to cover my head with a pillow. But whatever I do, I can't really go back to sleep. I have no choice. And I'm too lazy to get up.

"Hey! Get up you sleepy head. You're gonna be late with your date." Kurtline said while throwing me some pillows. 

"Oh, yah! I forgot!" I said.

And then, i just remembered that I'm going to meet Darren this morning.

That's why I'm to lazy to get up because all night, Kurtline and I chit-chatted the whole time about what just Dad said last night.

Ehehehehe.......... I didn't listen to Dad to go and have a beauty sleep, cuz' I already know that I'm beautiful. Just joking. Such a feeler!

And it was already 7:30 in the morning. And I only have 30 minutes to prepare. I am going yo meet Darren at 8:00 in the morning.

So I took a bath about 15 minutes long. It takes me too long because, I want to meet Darren with an arrogant smell.

And after that, I used a hair dryer to dry my hair as usual. And then, I pony-tailed it and put a color white pin ribbon beside.

I wear a color black crop-top partnered with a color white jeans. And I also wear my color black converse. And I'm ready to go.

Mom drove me at the Starbucks.

As I went there, I didn't (yet) saw Darren. So, I just waited for him to come.

I'd already ordered some drinks. I'd ordered for the Darren is a Green Tea Frappuccino, you know as a treat. And for me, is a Coffe Jelly Frappuccino.

After I ordered, I saw someone. A guy who wears a gray hoodie covering his quiff hairstyle and he also wears a black shades. It was Darren! He walks toward the table where I am, of course.

"Hey! Sorry if I'm pretty late." He said. 

"Oh, no it's fine, really." I said. 

"Okay! So........"

He looks into my eyes, and I was like, oh what the!? I can't resist his cuteness. I want to squeezed his chubby chicks and poked his dimples. *day dreaming*

"I'd found your phone beside the counter, and then.... Hey! *waving his hand in front of my face side to side* Are you even listening?" He asked. 

"Wha... What?! Oh yeah, yah! Dad already said that. Ahm, here *passing the Green Tea Frappuccino* as a gift for taking care of my cellphone." I said. 

"Oh, you'd ordered my favorite color huh?!" He said. 

"Ah, hehehe *blushing* of course." I said. 

"Oh! By the way, here's your phone." Handling me my phone. Our hands almost touch together, and I was like, is this real?

So, we'd talked about ourselves, especially me. Because, I almost know all about him. Hehehe! It is what fangirls always do.

"Kate!?" He asked. 

"Yes, why?" I asked. 

"Can we be friends? Like normal friends?" He said.

I think it was AWKWARD to have friends with a celebrity like him. But, I won't let this moment go away. So I should say.........

"Yes! Why not? I mean, I would love too." I said. 

"Oh, thank you." He said and then he hugged me.

"Oh, ah..... Ah...... I'm sorry!? You know I shouldn't have did that. I'm really really sorry. I think I was just excited to have a long time with you!? So um.... I'm really sorry." He explained. 

"It's okay! It was just a hug. Friends normally do that." I said.

And then suddenly, Buzzz... Buzzz... Buzzz... My phone is ringing. Mom was calling.

"Would you mind if I-" 

"Sure!" He said cutting me off.

"Thank you!" I said.

"Hello, Mom!"

"Hello Sweetie!? Can you go home na! I need you to guard the house. I have an important meeting to attend. Yung kasambahay kasi natin umuwi muna sa province nila. And also do the household chores. And kapag nagutom ka, niluto ko yung favorite ulam mo. Sinigang! Just heat it na lang. Basta ikaw na bahala sa bahay ah! I'll be just gone for a while"

"Okay Mom! Love you!"

"Love you too! Bayaan mo pag-uwi ko may pasalubong ako sayo."

"Yieeeh! Okay Mom! Keep safe!"

"You too!"

"Darren!?" I said. 

"Can we still see each other again naman diba? I'm just making it sure." I asked. 

"Of course. Why?" He asked concerned. 

"Si Mom kasi pinapauwi na ako. Walang magbabantay ng bahay. Maybe next time na lang ulit." I said.

"Yah, sure. No problem. Basta ikaw." He said. 

"Thank you!" I said. 

"Thank you for what?" He asked. 

"Thank you for all. For taking back my phone and for lending so much time because I know that you are such a busy man." I said. 

"No! Thank you sa pagsang-ayon sa friendship natin." He said. 

"Wala iyon!" I said in a jokie way and we both chuckles.

"Wa...wa...wait...." I stopped.

"Why?" He asked. 

"Can i have your phone number?" I asked. And we both chuckles again. 

"Sure!" He said and gave me his number. 

"Aren't you asking?" I asked in my curiosity.

"Asking what?" He asked. 

"My number! Duh!" I said. 

"Ah! I won't ask na. Because I already have yours." He said. 

"Really? Silly you!" I said. 

"Okay na! Sige na bye!" I added. 

"Bye!" He said.
