The Unexpected Love

Chapter 3

Kate's POV

"Woaahhh....... What a nice sleep I'd got." I said while doing some stretching. "But first, lemme take a selfie."

I look for my phone under my pillow, but I didn't found it there. I look at my drawer, but I didn't found it there also.

"Maybe it's in the living room." I said.

So, I rushed down the stairs and go to the living room. And then Mom saw me.

"Why are so in a hurry?" Mom asked. 

"Mom I think I had lost my phone." I said.

"Where did you last put it?" Mom asked in astonishment.

"I don't know. I don't remember." I replied.

"I'll just help you to find it." Mom said. 

"Okay!" I said.

And then, we look all over the house but we can't really find it. And then suddenly, we heard footsteps approaching from the stairs.

"Why so noisy?" Kurtline asked.

"Kate had lost her phone." Mom answered. 

"Where did you left it?" Kurtline asked, again. 

"For the second time, I don't know. I don't remember." I said.

After all time finding the phone, I got tired and hungry. So, I just sat at the table to grab and eat some tasty toasted bread. And then, Mom came beside me.

"Don't worry Kate. We will buy a new one." Mom said. 

"But, Mom i don't want to buy a new one. Cause there's a remembrance of Darren and I. We took a lot of selfies before, and now it was gone. What if, I can't take anymore selfies with him." I protested

"But honey, there's no choice. We look all over the house and we can't really find it." Mom said.

"I know."

Mom stand and she continue to clean the mess. While me, I just continue to eat my bread and with an emotional mood.

Hours ago, Dad just came home from work. Mom wait behind the door.

"Hi hon!" Dad said. *and they kissed. And me be like, AWKWARD* 

"So, how was your day." Mom asked.

"It's great and tiring at the same time." Dad answered.

"Do you want some coffee?"  Mom suddgested. 

"Yah! Sure!" Dad said. 

"Oh wait! Hon?" Mom said. 

"Can we buy Kate a new phone? Cause she had misplaced her phone and we really can't find it. And also to let her go to Darren's Concerts as a gift to make her happy." Mom said. 

"Okay, sure." Dad agreed. 

"Okay! I'm going to make your coffee now." Mom said.
