Chapter 5

Kate's POV

I was already awake when my phone is ringing. It was Darren calling.

"Good Morning!" I said with good vibes. 

"Hey! Good Morning!" He said. 

"So, what's up for today?" I asked confusing and wondering why he called me that early. 

"Ahm, can I go to your house? I mean, it's kinda boring when you are left alone." He said. 

"Why not? Sure! Actually, that's a great idea. I will let you know my family and I as well." I said. 

"Okay great! What's your address again?" He asked. 

"You're going in our house and you don't even know the address. Hahaha you silly!" 

"I know right!" He said. 

"Okay I will just text you our address and wait for it!" I said. 

"Okay bye!" He said.

So I texted him.

Haha I'm a little kilig because he's really coming in our house. Imagine, a big star coming in your house. I think it's kind a awkward but I know that it's the best feeling ever.

"Mom! Dad! Darren is coming. He called me." I said running down the stairs. 

"Oh, really! Well, good thing I already cooked our breakfast." Mom said. 

"Dad, Kate's boyfriend is paying a visit." Kurtline shouted. 

"I know. Hey Kate, introduce us to him ah!" Dad said. 

"Yes, Dad. I will."

And I was like, oh my gosh! My family wanted to be introduced to Darren. Isn't it great? Having the best family ever!

I waited for him to come, and then suddenly the door bell rings.

"I'll get it!" I said.

"Hey!" I said. 

"Hey! I bought some Starbucks!" He said raising the coffees. 

"Thanks! But, you don't have to bought those things." I said. 

"It was just a treat!" He said.

He was so cute that I almost squeezed and poked his dimples.

"Come in na!" I said. 

*walked in* "Hi po! Good Morning!" He politely greeted. 

"Well, isn't that the good idol of Kate." Dad said.

"Good Morning to you too Darren." 

"Mano po!" Darren asked for my parents bless. 

"Kaawaan ka ng Diyos!" Mom and Dad said. 

"Hi Kurtline!" Darren greeted. 

"Hello Darren! Have a sit while we're preparing our breakfast." Kurtline said. 

"Ahm, Mrs. Garcia I brought some Starbucks." Darren said. 

"Oh, thank you Darren! This is too much expensive, but thanks a lot! And don't call me Mrs. Garcia you can call me Tita Liezel and you can also call my husband, Tito Carlos." Mom said. Darren looked at my Dad. Dad wave to him and Darren wave back.

After we all finished our food I introduce my family to Darren. We chit-chatted about crazy things.

I'm helping my Mom to clean the table but she don't let me do it. She said that instead of helping her why don't I tour Darren around the house and they will all do the work.
