My POV

As we walked towards the house Zemo had in Regi, I saw Bucky looking around before catching up to us, saying he wanted to go for a walk. As we got into the house, I sat down on the chair, stretching and propping my arm up on the table, resting my chin as Zemo asked me if I wanted a drink. I nodded slowly as my eyes closed, the last twenty-four hours replaying in my head.

We were compromised, a bomb exploding as we nearly escaped the shipping container running into more bounty hunters. I cursed as I stood next to Bucky, my aim was barely hitting them as my senses spiked seeing a gunman aim and fire towards Bucky. As the time slowed down, my eyes widened as I jumped in front of Bucky, taking the bullet in my shoulder.

"Liz!" I fell to the ground, gently touching my shoulder, and flinched at the pain. Pulling my hand back, I saw the blood. As the last hunter was taken care of, I heard a car come around and a set of arms lifting me. Bucky? "Liz. Please, come on. Stay with me, ok?" I groaned as I blinked, staring up at the sky. I wasn't dying. I knew that much, so why was Bucky so alarmed? I, however, was too out of it to tell him that. As we had gotten to the plane and Bucky was patching me up as I laid in his arms. The entire plane ride, I laid in his arms as he held me close.

Tipping my glass Zemo handed me, I smiled softly as I sighed, rubbing my head. I was fully healed and ready to jump back into it, but the way Bucky was acting was messing with my head. I needed to talk to him. Soon.

Bucky came in soon after saying how Ayo was here and the Wakandans wanted Zemo, giving us only a few hours before they took him. I stood up and walked over, joining Bucky on the couch as we tried figuring out where to find Karli.

"Hold on. From my understanding, Dania is like a pillar of the community, Right? So when I was a kid my Titi Passed away-"

"Your Titi?" Bucky asked.

"His aunt, Bucky." As the boys were getting ready to find out where the funeral was, I pulled on Bucky's arm, clearing my throat. "Got a minute?"

"Can this wait until we get back?" Bucky asked. He took a few steps closer to me and softly grabbed my hand. I gently bit my lower lip as I stared at our hands connected before he pulled away.

"Just be safe."

A few hours later, they walked in with John right on their trail, looking pissed. I seethed, staring at John and his sidekick as I walked over to Bucky, looking him over for injuries.

"Liz. I'm ok."

"Doesn't mean I can't worry about you Bucky."

"You gonna check me next for injuries?" Zemo asked, only getting a growl from Bucky as his answer. Luckily, before anything could happen, Ayo and some of the Dora Milaje came for Zemo, resulting in them fighting John.

"We should do something," Sam said as Bucky rolled his eyes.

"Looking good, John." Bucky semi-cheered. Not wanting to deal with any of this, I propped myself up on the table while Bucky and Sam eventually joined in the fight. Zemo vanished, Walker was humiliated, and Bucky's arm was dismantled. Sam walked over as we both laughed while Bucky picked his metal arm back up, latching it back on, clearly pissed.

"Did you know they could do that?" I asked in between breaths from laughing so hard.

"No." Bucky glared at me, immediately making me quiet. I threw my hands up as we were slightly back to square one, especially with Zemo now in the wind. Sitting at the table while Sam was on the phone with his sister, Bucky came over to me.

"Did you want to talk?" Bucky asked. He gazed into my eyes and I froze, suddenly nervous.

"Oh-uh, yeah we can," I said as we stood up, about to walk into the other room. Stopping only as Sam got off the phone pissed. Karli had called Sarah and requested a meeting with him. Not wanting to have him go by himself, we looked at each other. Bucky and I tagged along as I watched her and Sam try talking. It seemed he was getting through to her, especially when he brought up me and Bucky.
