Chapter 3

Chole and Goh searched for hours looking for Ash until they finally came across Drizzile's old cave and decided to both look in, where they found Ash. "Hey Ash you good buddy?" Asked Goh as soon as he saw Ash "Ya Ash are you okay?" Asked Chole as well who was now blocking the exit sense the space was so small. "Huh? Ya I'm fine I just wanted to be alone for a bit." Ash responded sounding a little bit zoned out. "So why did you run off? Ash I hope I didn't say anything wrong I was just curious and worried about you." Chole said apologetically. "No, no you didn't say anything wrong, I ran off because..." Ash trailed off and turned away from everyone looking sad and almost going back into thought but then Goh said " If you're not ready to tell Chole then I'm sure she'll understand. Right Chole?" "First of all you're right and second of all Ha I knew you knew what was going on with Ash." Chole said triumphantly. "Okay Chole it may be true that I know somewhat of what's going on with Ash but I don't know why he ran off. Speaking of Ash care to tell us or at least me why you ran off?" Goh asked, interested in the answer. "Well to tell Chole that I would have to tell her other things, Goh do you think it's time I tell her?" Asked Ash. "Well that's a tough question. I think it's time to tell someone and she may be able to help but if you don't feel ready to tell anyone else that's up to you." Goh responded, trying to not overwhelm Ash since there wasn't a clear escape route because Chole was blocking it. As Ash was in thought trying to decide "If I may have a say in this, Ash I would love it if you told me what was going on so I could help but if you're really not ready then I'll wait until you are." Chloe said in a patient tone. Ash went back in thought to debate wether or not to tell her 'On the one hand if I tell her she may be able to help but on the other if I talk about it I may start crying again but on the other she may be able to help me stop with the crying about it but on the other hand what if she laughs at me or calls me a baby.'
