Pokémon fan fiction Homesickness

Chapter 1

It was a normal morning just like any other except how Ash was feeling, he didn't feel like he had a cold or a fever or anything but he still felt sick. So he went to breakfast thinking he would feel better after he ate but he still felt that sick feeling, so he went back to his room and laid down. Goh came in about an hour later to check on him, Ash was still laying in bed with that sick feeling, "Is everything okay?" Goh asked Ash a little but concerned "Ya everything is fine just feeling a little sick," Ash responded while looking away from Goh at the wall next to his bed. Pikachu had now woken up and was next to Ash cuddling him, "Hi buddy," Ash said to Pikachu, "Pika Pika," Pikachu responded a little but worried since he could tell Ash was sad. "Well Goh said I already checked with the professor and he says he doesn't have anything for us to do today, so I figured we could go out and see if we could catch any new Pokémon, but if your not feeling well we can stay home and have fun here," Goh said enthusiastically. "No, no it's fine you can go out without me, just be careful," Ash responded, clearly sad. "Nah its fine we haven't had a day where we just stay in the lab in forever. So I may as well just stay home and keep you company," Goh said. "Goh you can go out on your own, I would really rather be alone right now anyways," Ash said sadly but also a little bit impatiently. "Ash are you sure your fine, do you wanna talk about something?" Goh said worried about Ash. "No Goh, I said I was fine already and what would there be to talk about? I'm just a little tired." Ash said a little bit annoyed at this point. "Fine Ash I'll be back around lunch and come find you at that point," Goh said, a little bit annoyed. "Okay, have fun," Ash responded.

Ash POV:
"Huh," Ash sighed. "Pikachu do you ever miss Brock, Misty, Serina, Clement, Bonnie, Dawn and her brother, Iris, Cylan, our room, and Mom?" Ash asked Pikachu "Pika Pika Chu Pika Pika Pik Chu" Pikachu agreed. At this point Ash had just realized what the sick feeling was he was homesick. 'But that's for babies' he thought. He started silently sobbing for a bit while Pikachu cuddled him feeling a little homesick as well. When he stopped sobbing he saw that is was 11:45 already and Goh was coming back around 12:00 which meant that the Pokémon would need feeding soon. 'I should probably start getting their food ready,' Ash thought. So he got out of bed got dressed quickly and went to prepare the food for the Pokémon and went out to the place were they keep all the Pokémon.

Goh POV: 'I wonder what's wrong with Ash' Goh kept thinking as he was out with Chole. "What's wrong Goh?" Chole asked seeing that Goh was a little out of it today. "Oh," Goh exclaimed as he was snapped out of thought by her talking "I'm just worried about Ash, he seems sad and says he isn't feeling well, and he won't tell me what's wrong." "Huh," Goh sighed. "Well maybe when you get back he'll be ready to talk," Chole said. "Maybe you're right," Goh said 'But I'm still worried,' Goh thought. "We should probably head home," Chole said noticing the time "Its about time to feed the Pokémon." "You're right," Goh said "Let's head back."

Story:
Goh headed to the Pokémon enclosure and saw that Ash was already there and had started feeding the Pokémon. "Hey Ash." Goh called out to Ash who turned to look then turned back and yelled "Hi Goh" back. "I see you already started feeding the Pokémon looks like ther's only a few bowls of food left, let me get those ones, So are you feeling better then?" Goh asked. "I already told you I was fine just a bit tired I took a nap and I'm fine now I gonna go hang out with the Pokémon." Ash told Goh and started walking off. "Wait up Ash I'll come with you." Goh called back, but Ash just ignored him. Goh quickly finished up and ran off after Ash.

Goh finally caught up and Ash was playing and talking with Pikachu. "Remember Pikachu don't tell anyone especially not Goh or Chole," Ash said not realizing Goh was right behind him. "Don't tell me what?" Goh asked scaring Ash. Ash stood up and faced Goh. "Nothing!" Ash said hurriedly and scardly. "Oh come on Ash I just heard you, you know you can tell me anything its not like I'll judge you," Goh said. "I told you it's nothing Goh," Ash responded a little bit annoyed sense Goh kept pushing. "Dude just tell me what's wrong I can tell somethings up, we have been researching with each other and been friends with each other for years, I can tell when somethings up with you." Goh paused to take a breath "SO JUST TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG ALREADY!" Goh yelled at Ash. Ash didn't respond. He just stood there for a minute then turned around and started running as fast as he could, crying while he was running, normally he would have stayed there and fought with Goh but today he just couldn't take anymore, so he ran until he found a cave to hide in. Once he found a cave he ducked in sat down and started sobbing Pikachu right by his side cuddling with him. Goh ran around trying to find Ash wondering 'What's wrong with Ash? Why won't he tell me what's wrong? I hope I didn't make things worse. What if he doesn't want to be by friend anymore?' Goh kept thinking until he found Ash in the cave sobbing.

"Okay dude Im really worried now first you're not feeling well then you ignore me and ask Pikachu not to tell me anything, then you run away, and on top of all of that I find you in a cave sobbing with Pikachu cuddling you. Dude seriously what's wrong? I promise I won't judge you whatever it is." Goh said calmly but obviously very worried. "I dont wanna talk about it." Ash responded still sobbing "Fine then we don't have to talk about it untill your ready. I'll just sit here and be with you," Goh said in a calming tone. "Okay," Ash said through sobs.

They were there in the cave just sitting together and Ash sobbing for well over 3 hours until Ash finally stopped sobbing and calmed down.  "You ready to talk now buddy?" Goh asked. "I guess," Ash said, wiping tears off his face. "So then buddy what's wrong?" Goh asked in the same calm voice he had been using. "Huh" Ash breathed "I don't know what happened but I woke up this morning feeling..." Ash choked on his words, still not sure about telling Goh. "Its okay I promise I won't judge you. Take all the time you need." Goh said, sensing Ash's hesitation. "I woke up this morning feeling," Ash started again still not trusting Goh, "you promise you won't laugh or judge me or tell anyone else?" Ash asked. "I promise to you I won't laugh, judge you, or tell anyone." Goh said in the same calm voice but also getting a little bit impatient. "Okay," Ash said finally willing to tell Goh "I woke up this morning feeling a little bit, no a lot" Ash Sighed "homesick." "Oh," Goh said "Is that what's been bothering you, you know I've been homesick two, if you had talked to me before this we could have sorted this out sooner. I can arrange a trip back to Pallet town and" "NO!" Ash interrupted "I don't want anyone else to know I'm homesick I didn't even want you to know if we suddenly want to go on a trip back to my hometown they will definitely figure out that I'm homesick or they'll ask why we want to go and I don't want anyone to know. I'll be fine I just need a few days not exploring, hanging out with the Pokémon to recover." Ash said "Okay if your sure and know I'm always here to talk if you need." Goh said "I know" Ash said in response.

                                                            

Sorry if this is kinda boring it's more or less just a starter chapter to get going I swear it gets better
