-Luke-
We headed to the hospital immediately and worried sick about Calum suiciding.
The word Calum and suicide doesn't even match.
We pulled up to the parking lot of the hospital.
Us, boys, were walking through the halls of the hospital then we bumped into Elle. We still hadn't worked things out. And even if we did, it would never be the same.
If only she knew why I didn't ask her for money.
"Hey guys." Elle flashed a smile to us.
"Elle!!" The boys half-yelled.
"Okay! Stop!" Elle laughed.
"Hey, Luke." Elle said. Half smiling me.
"Hi." I replied. Awkward silence started to fill up. Suddenly, Michael cleared his throat while glancing at me to break the tension between us.
"So, where's calum's room?" Michael asked putting his hands into his pockets.
"Oh yeah, he's uh, uh.. At room 300." Elle awkwardly said.
"Cmon guys, let's go to Calum." Michael said.
"Cmon Luke." Ash nudged me.
We were walking to Calum's room when Ashton suddenly whispered.
"You should go talk to her." Ashton whispered.
"I know." I replied
"Then go." Ashton said.
"I can't. I just can't put myself to do it." I looked down.
"You know Luke, nobody is stopping you but yourself. Nothing is gonna happen if you just sit there." Ashton said.
"I know. I just can't tell her the truth. I just, love her so much." I stuttered out absentmindedly.
"You sho- wait, you love her?" Ashton asked wide eyed
"What?" I said
"You love elle?" Ashton question.
"No." I denied feeling my face heat up.
"You just sai-" Ashton was cut off by elle saying that we are here. Thank god.
-
We were talking and talking until elle suddenly excused herself to go to the loo.
A few minutes later, Elle doesn't come back. Where is she?
All of a sudden, we heard screaming. What?
I looked to see what was happening. I saw Elle yelling to- her dad? Oh my god, this can't be happening.
Before I can go outside, Ashton stopped me.
"Where are you going?" Ashton asked.
"Outside." I replied.
"No, stay here, you're missing out all the fun." Ashton pushed.
I ignored him and went outside. But when I opened the door, there was Jo one there. Except the nurses of course and other doctors walking by.
I started to get worried.
I went to the car we drove earlier. Good thing I was the one who drove.
I start the engine and it worked.
After starting the car, I immediately drove to Elle's apartment.
Once I got there, I rang the doorbell and no one answered.
But then, I remembered that Elle gave me a spare key to her house.
I used the key and went inside her place
I look to her bedroom and saw her curled into a ball crying.
"Elle?" I called. She doesn't move
I walked to her and she continues to cry even more.
"Elle, please stop crying." I comfort her as I pulled her into a hug.
"Stop. Don't look at me. I fucking look horrible. And I fought with you. Don't you hate me?" She cried.
"What are you talking about? You'll never look horrible. And I will never ever ever hate you. You know that." I said.
She just looked at me and cried even more.
"You mean that?"
"Of course I do."
"Can you tell me what happend?" I ask.
"Its just, my dad. Its like the same thing happened 3 years ago. And he has hurt me again even my mum." She cries.
"And, its like I'm not their daughter anymore and they don't fucking love me." She cried even more. " I know I sound like a child whining about how my parents don't love me." She continued half crying, half laughing.
"You're not dramatic. Even though your family doesn't give a shit about you, Im here to care for you. And I'm here to love you." I blurted out.
"Y-you love m-me?"
