Chapter 5

-Alyssa-

I start to wonder who the heck this girl is. She looks like me and I really feel like I know her for a very very long time ago. I just can't point my finger to it.

"Uhhm. Sorry to say this, but dude, why are you hugging me?" I ask trying to keep my cool even if I am covered with bruises and band-aids.

She looks down a bit of embarassed actually. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean for it to happen." she said not looking into my eyes.

"What's your name by the way?" I question.

"El- Jerielle." She smiles and reaches for my hand to shake. I responded by smiling to her.

"Nice to meet you. I suppose you know what my name is. Cause like a minute ago you were like saying my name like something happened." I shrugged. She nervously laugh. Why is she nervous? Is there something I did wrong?

"By the way how do you even know my name?" I ask looking at my foot.

"I kno-" she was interrupted by Earl.

"Guys. Sorry to interrupt you but, I really need to go home right now. Sorry." he scratched the back of his neck. "By the way see you in school Alyssa. Don't worry, I'll stay by your side this time. Calum and his friends can't hurt you anymore." he said and smile. But at the corner of my eye I saw Jerielle looking at us wide eyed.

"Jerielle are you alright?" I ask her not sure what her problem was.

"Is it true that Calum and his friends bully you?" she asks like there's something that's bothering her that Calum and his friends bully me.

"Errm y-y-yeah." I stuttered out. "Why do yo-" I was cut off by her walking out the door without even saying a word.

"Earl come on, let's go home. I'm gonna come with you." I said. His plans on going home was ruined.

"Sure"

I was watching a movie in my room when Elle comes barging inside my room. She walks up to me then I felt a sting on the right side of my face. Sudden realisation hit me. She just slapped me in the face.

"What the fuck is wrong with you!? Are you mad!? You can't just go barging in my room and slapping me!?" I yelled at her not caring if anyone would hear me. Besides, my family aren't home yet.

"I can't believe you just did that to my si-" she pauses. "I cant believe you just did that to Alyssa! You bitch!" She yelled.

"You know Alyssa?" My eyes widen. "How?" I ask again. But I still don't know what was she gonna say before when she even called me a bitch.

"Yes. And I just met her awhile ago. And to know that you bully her!? Shit, Calum, what the fucking hell is wrong with you?" she finally calms down.

"Wait, how did you even know that I bully her?" I ask raising my eyebrow.

"Simple." she smirked. "Earl." My eyes widen.
