Chapter 24

-Calum-

"Bro, its okay." Michael said.

"I know." I replied.

A minute after, with an awkward silence and us staring at the two 'lovebitch', Ashton suddenly came and put his lunch tray next to me.

"Uhm, guys, are you alright?" Ash asked as he noticed us looking at Alyssa and Earl.

I looked up to him.

"Yes. Im fine." I said.

"Okay" he awkwardly said.

"Mind if Bryanna sit with us?" Ashtpn asked wiggling his eyebrows.

I chuckled.

"Sure." We said in chorus.

"Okay. Oh, wait. Please, dont act or say something stupid." Ash pleaded. He walked away to get his love.

I wiggled my eyebrows as a sign to mess with Ashton.

They wiggled their eyebrows back.

A minute or two, Ashton came back with her girl, Bryanna and wow, she is a lovely girl, but not as lovely as Alyssa.

"Cal, what the hell?" Luke said while laughing with Michael.

I furrowed my eyebrows at them.

"What?" I asked.

"You said that Bryanna was lovely but not as lovely as Alyssa" Luke said while laughing.

"The fuck. I said that out loud?" I asked shockingly.

"Uh, yeah" he laughed.

"Okay guys, meet my one and only Bryanna. Bryanna, meet Calum,Luke and Michael." Ashton said with a huge grin on his face.

"Oh, hey guys.Im Bryanna and Im in the same grade as Ashton's, so yeah." Bryanna said shyly.

"Cmon babe, dont be shy." Michael jokingly said and Ashton gives him a death glare.

"Okay, Im sorry."Michael laughs.

"Uhm, guys, I should get going." I interrupted.

"Uh, sure. Bye!" Michael yelled while laughing.

I went to my Biology class and saw Alyssa go too.

I followed her and it seems like, she's a bit down.

She enters the class and sat on one of the chairs. I sit right next to her. I looked at her and noticed that she is just staring blankly at the blackboard.

When I open my mouth to talk to her, the teacher walked inside the classroom.

Another 1 hell of an hour. I thought.

"Okay, goodmorning guys. Today's lesson will be..." the teacher rambles on and I started to zone out at the moment.

"Okay and when the-" the bell rang interrupting the teacher.

"Okay, we'll call it a day. Bye guys." The teacher said.

Alyssa stood up from her chair immediatley and went out.

I followed her once again and called her but she wont look at me.

"Alyssa!" I called. She wont even budge.

"Alyssa!" I called.

I ran to her because she is walking insanely fast and our next class is on the end of the hallway.

I catch up immediatley and blocked her to stop her from walking.

"Alyssa, what the fuck is happening to you?" I asked her. She didint answer me.

"Alyssa, tell me. What is wrong?"

She just looked at me suddenly burst into tears. She cried.

Then suddenly, I knew what was happening. She and Earl had fought.

Without thinking, I hugged her to comfort her.

She hugged back.

"Shh.. its gonna be alright." I comforted her.

"Why does everybody says that? When the truth is, its not. Its not. It will never be fucking alright" she cursed.

"Why do you say that?" I asked.

"Because, fuck that Earl. He fucking dumped me." Alyssa sobbed.

"What?!" I yelled.

"Just, nevermind. You dont even care a damn about me!" She stands up and walks away.

"Wait! Alyssa!" I called but she ran very fast.

I arrived at my house and havent seen Alyssa since. I need to tell her the truth about Earl before they even go back together. I dont fucking care about the money. I dont need those.

When I reached our front door, I turned away to go to Alyssa's house.

I knocked on their front door. Her mom answered.

"Oh, hello Calum. Is there anything you want?" She asked.

"Uh. Yeah. Is Alyssa home?" I asked nervously looking at my feet.

"I'm sorry honey, I think she's with Earl at the moment." She smiled.

What?

"Shit." I cursed.

"Excuse me?" Alyssa's mother cocked her eyebrow.

"Oh. I'm so sorry Mrs. Crawford." I just need to tell Alyssa something.

She smiled at me then closed their front door.

I ran back to school. That's where they are.

I searched at the whole school and there were no sign of them.

I gave up, but something caught my eye. Something, you unbearable to see.

Something, gross like the person who breaks up with another person, then they start kissing once again.
