Natsu's P.O.V
"Get out of here you creep," I gritted my teeth, before she swam back into the ocean like a scared freak. "Honestly, both mermaids and mermen are disgusting sea creatures." I growled, while stomping back to my home at the castle.
As I walked down the sandy streets, I heard someone call for me.
"HEY! FLAME BRAIN! What are you doing? Admiring the floor?" Ah. Gray FullBuster, the prince guy from the... Well...fullbuster kingdom.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY, ICE PRINCESS?"
And we started fighting like usual. My mother though, Queen Grandine, came from who-knows-where, and pinched our ears.
"Ow!" Gray and I both screeched.
"For at least one day, can you guys stop fighting? It's five in the morning for goodness sake!" Mother said.
"It's not that early~" I whined. She look at me with a death glare.
Sometimes I wish my mouth would just shut up.
"Say that again, darling? For me it is!" She shouted back. She pinched both my ears before punching me in the face.
"S-s-sorry!" I ran back cowering to the castle, while Gray, shivering, went back to whatever he was doing . At least fighting with Gray, and getting in trouble with mother, made me calm down from remembering what those mermaids did to my family and friends.
Lucy's P.O.V
I laid in bed crying softly, with the flashback of how that human boy treated me playing hundreds of times in my head. Levy-chan, my most trustworthy sister and best friend in the world, came into my bedroom and noticed me.
"Lu-chan... Where were you? When we all woke up this morning, we didn't see y- LU-CHAN?" I think by then she realized I was crying, because she came up to me and started comforting me. She floated above me so she could get a good look at my face. "Lu-chan.. What happened?"
"Levy-chan..." I sniffed, and sat up on the bed. "Promise you won' tell anyone, ok?" She nodded. "Levy... Every morning I go up to the shore-"
"What?!" She yelled. I put my finger over my lips, telling her to keep quiet. "Ah, sorry... Keep going."
"When I went up to the shore this time, I ended up being seen by a human boy... He was extraordinary, his feet and legs... They were awesome. I was so happy to see a human being like him, until he kneeled down in front of me and told me 'get out of here, you creep'. Just by seeing his face I... I... Knew he hated me... I thought He was different from other humans but... Like everyone else, he hates us all..." I finally finished, and started crying. Levy hugged me and whispered,
"Please... Don't hurt your self anymore.. Stay with us... Don't explore the outside world..."
"Y-yeah..."
