The air was tense, thick with heat and an aura that seemed to distort your sight. Cell gripped your shoulder firmly and pressed your form closer to him. Gohan instantly drew his eyes towards you, his muscles flexing underneath his shirt defensively. His previous polite demeanor was long gone, it now being replaced by that of a hunter. And his prey was the bio android just behind you.

"Cell. Let her go. She has nothing to do with this. Let's just take this fight somewhere deserted." Gohan pleaded. Cell roared a mocking laugh. Though he sounded confident just with his jest, you could feel every muscle in his limbs tensing. Both he and Gohan seemed to be just a hair away from ripping one another limb from limb. You gulped and looked up to Cell and back to Gohan. If they fought, would he truly be strong enough to hold his own? You bit your lip nervously, praying no one came to blows.

"You have some nerve, Gohan. First, you snoop around an innocent woman's home, accuse her of wrongdoings, then upset her in her own residence. This just seems beneath you, boy." Cell scowled at Gohan, his hatred dripping with each word passing his lips. Cell's grip on you was nearly painful, seeming as if it was taking every fiber in his soul to not accidentally crush your shoulder.

"Our accusations aren't wrong. She was hiding something, that something being you, Cell. For all we know, she could be an android or something. Maybe a contingency plan of Dr.Gero's."  Piccolo spoke, an icy accusatory glare bored holes into the both of you. "You probably are gonna absorb her. Just like you did to 17 and 18. Sort of funny though, I thought you reached your perfect form. There shouldn't be anything beyond that. Unless, you aren't perfect." With his ending comment, the tall Namek smirked, knowing he surely got under Cell's carapace.

Before you could explain the misunderstanding, Cell bellowed another loud laugh. "You truly think this little woman is an android? I'm not sure what kind of water you've been drinking Namek, but I'd suggest you lay off it. Throw another accusation her way and I will make you eat your words. Are we clear?"

You became a bit scared, this energy was overwhelming, nearly electric. It seemed as if someone was going to lunge across the counter at any second. Just as that thought crossed your mind, you saw a green flash at the corner of your peripheral. As you glanced up, Cell held Piccolo's arm in his fist.

"I thought we were to fight elsewhere? Hmm?" As Cell began to laugh, he caught another fist that had come flying his way, this time catching Gohan's. As shaken as you were, you noted you still felt Cell's reassuring hand on your shoulder. That's when you saw a smiling double holding Gohan's fist. The double waved at you with his free hand. His eyes still closed from the smile, he kneed Gohan in the stomach, causing him to double over.

"An obvious distraction, Piccolo. Do you really think so low of me as to not think you would lunge first and Gohan would strike after?" He smirked and tightened his grip on the green man's arm, ripping it completely off.  Violet gore splattered across your countertop, flicks of it managing to spray onto your face. Your eyes were wide dishes of pure terror as you began to sputter pitifully.  Cell seemed to register your fear as he grimaced visibly at his mistake of committing another gorey act in front of you. His regretful eyes met yours of utter bewilderment.  "O-oh right! My apologies dear! Not to worry he can-'' Before Cell could finish his string of apologies, he was caught off guard by a vicious roundhouse kick to the jaw by Piccolo, causing him to fly straight through the wall of your living room.

You stammered back, the Namekian huffing as he let out a scream of agony as another hand shot out where his other once was. The fast-paced movement caused your head to spin, all the stimulation and adrenaline pumping through you had you feeling faint. Before you felt your knees give way, you felt rough hands catch you. "Y/n? Are you okay?" Were the last words you heard before everything faded to an inky darkness.
