Jazz' POV
"what? Why daddy?" I asked. I sounded like a little girl, much like a child. But if you were in my situation im pretty sure you would act childish just like I did.
"we need to darling.. There is a business proposal that leads us there, I can't say no"
I didn't say another word. Instead a tear came rushing down my cheek.
Dad is now coming closer and pulled me into a tight hug. "I promise you will love it there honey, I will do everything in my power to make yours and jace' life there perfect."
"really?" I asked. Shallow I know. But if dad really wants it then I'll do anything to make him happy.
He nodded as he let go of me.
"just promise me one thing daddy"
"anything honey"
"spend more time with us. Jace and I miss you dearly"
"I'll do my best darling" with that I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and headed for my room to pack for our flight tomorrow.
You see, My dad, Martin Manroe a very successful businessman or so I've been told, got a business proposal that will need us to move to Los Angeles.
Excuse my manners, I'm Jasmine Manroe but you can call me jazz, I'm 17 years old. I have a twin brother, Jason but everyone calls him jace we absolutely don't look alike but we share the same interest. My mom died when we were just children and since then our life changed completely.
Dad was always burying himself in work to get his mind off of it while Jace and I turn to theatre. BTW jace is not gay. I just always force him to sing or act with me. We were both popular but not in a snobbish kind. Jace was also the courter back in our schools football team here in Boston.
I sit on my king sized bed, taking in all the memories that happened in this very room. I always had slumber parties here since this room could fit 20 people in it. I will miss this room.
As I turn my gaze to my desk I notice plenty of pictures of me and my best friends Claire, Jamie, Lila and Kendra. I will miss them dearly. No one will ever compare to them, heck I've known them since 3rd grade. Imagine what bond we have now.
I need to tell them now. I need to say a proper goodbye before I leave tomorrow. So I decided on an emergency slumber party. So I grabbed my phone and started texting.

When I pressed send I looked at my watch noticing that it was almost 3 so I hurried and packed everything for tomorrow and left what I needed for the SP.
I took a shower right after I finish packing. The cold water soothed me quite nicely. I much rather prefer cold water than hot it wakes me up and makes me feel more alive.
I heard the doorbell rang after I finished drying my hair. Perfect timing. I thought. I ran downstairs being welcomed by four puzzled looking girls.
"what?" I asked. What was wrong?
"your only wearing a tank top and black panties babe" Jamie stated. Shit! As I look at myself, horrified at what I saw I ran upstairs to my room. They followed me.
The four of them are now sitting on my bed waiting for me to speak. So I did.
"were moving to L.A" I said dryly.
I heard gasps from everyone as the jumped off the bed and came running to me and hugged me.
"stop making me cry girls" I said wiping the tears.
"hell! How can we not jazz?" Kendra cried. With that, tears are now flowing heavily fogging my vision.
"stop all these mushy business" lila exclaimed.
"this is our last night together, let's have fun shall we?" Claire concluded.
We broke up from our hug and started wiping our tears. We started doing everything we wanted including messing with jace and his friends cole, mark and chase since jace planned his own slumber party.
We went to bed about 3:30 am. Yeah, I know, we were having fun, don't judge.
We woke up by the sound of dad's screams.
"BRRRREEEEEEAAAAAKKKKKKFFFFFFFFFFAAAAASSSSSTTT everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!" dad yelled again.
We all groaned in unison but quickly obeyed because of the constant sound in our tummies.
"whats for breakfast dad?" jace asked taking a seat on our huge dining table with his friends and we followed.
"bacon and pancakes" dad sang.
We all cheered when the sight of those yummy treats were laid upon us.
We all were enjoying breakfast when suddenly it was time to go. We said our goodbyes and entered the private jet.
Yes, daddy owned a private jet.
I slept through the whole flight, considering I didn't get much sleep last night.
"jazzy were here" I heard jace as he woke me up. When I opened my eyes I was mesmerized of the view I saw outside the window. It was a castle like mansion. Wow. My jaw dropped.
I stepped out the plane astonished by what I saw. It was huge I tell you. I knew dad had money but I ever realized it was this much.
A black BMW arrived to pick us up. Damn! We had to take a car ride to circle the place? Man! Dad really went all out on this one.
As we reached the front door I didn't hesitate to open it when I did I froze. It was amazing! I mean truly amazing!
But from what I saw the best part about it was the fountain in the middle of the room.
It was hugeee.. I could get used to this life. Jace and I were instructed where our rooms were and we headed straight there. This was the life!
And I have a new carrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell yeah.

Soo guys that was chapter 1 ! it was supposed to be longer but the stupid laptop deleted my file so had to write it again. Hope you enjoy it <3
