The sound of music: 3
Jazz’ POV
“Oh, hey ash” I said as casually as I could. Damn this boy was hot.
He sits beside me and gave me a toothy grin before looking at my brother’s direction. His faced tensed as he slowly slid a little closer and whispered. “If looks could kill, I’ll be dead right now.” I didn’t understand at first but when I turned my gave over to Jace, Chris, Dj and Jacob they were all looking at us like we were dealing drugs or committing a felony, which was very very veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery weird.
I just giggled a little and glared at my brother. Sensing the tension, Ash said his goodbyes and left.
The guy’s face relaxed as they continued eating. “What’s up with you guys?” I asked giving them questioning looks.
“I don’t think you should hang out with ash anymore little sis” Jace stated in a dry and husky voice.
“Yeah, he’s totally bad news.” Jacob added.
“How’d you know?” I asked. Still confused.
“He has a reputation to date girls and then dump them once he’d finish getting in their pants” Chris said in a husky tone.
“Don’t worry guys, I’m a good girl remember?” I said and they all gave me genuine smiles. Finally! I realized now I have 3 more over protective brothers. This senior year will be a total bore. I can sense it.
“Hey jazz? You in the Drama club right?” Dj asked. I just nodded. “be careful, k? Ash always gets a little competitive when it comes to performing.”
“Don’t worry about her, she is also one competitive girl, once in 5th grade, when our teacher told her she didn’t get the lead on our school musical, she threw a fit until the teacher had finally gave it to her.”
I lowered my head in embarrassment and also to hide the red cheeks I know had. They all just laughed and made comments on how badass I was.
The bell finally rang so it was time for us to go to class. Jace and I got auditions for the school musical. Jace agreed cause I blackmailed him that if he wouldn’t I’ll tell his friends that he still sleeps with the light on.

“what song Miss Manroe?” Mrs. Jenkins, Our school’s drama club adviser, asked.
“Brighter than the sun Ma’am” I looked at the other people below the stage sitting on their seats. There was a total of 67 student that are auditioning, and yes, that includes none other than, Ashton gray.
The music started and I was in the zone. I didn’t get stage fright. I’m used to people watching me.
Saw me on the corner
Swear you hit me like a vision
I, I, I wasn't expectin'
But who am I to tell fate where it's suppose to go?
With it, don't you blink, you might miss it
See we got a right to just
Love it, or leave it, you find it, you keep it
