The sound of music: 6
Jazz’ POV
Lunch had finally come and that means a few minutes away from Ash. Since first period he hasn’t stop annoying me and stuff, playing with my hair, playing with my hand, and he kept on tickling me too. That annoying little prick.
Jace is now buying some food while Jacob, Chris, DJ and I sit on our usual table talking about random topics when Tristan walked inside the cafeteria and yes he is with his cousin Ash. They suddenly came to our table’s direction.
“Hey Jazz” Tristan greeted as he took a seat next to me while Ash sat on the other side. Jace likes Tristan so that’s not a problem and even though the boys don’t like Ash for me they still like him as a buddy. But I on the other-hand was so mesmerized by Tristan I didn’t even notice Ash anymore.
“hey Tristan” I said. He smiled
We were sitting there quietly when finally someone broke the suddenly awkward silence.
“So guys it’s my first day here, and I really want to go to the movies, anyone interested?” Tristan said while taking a bite of his apple.
“Sure, let’s watch something action pack and shit!” Jacob exclaimed.
“yeah, lets meet up later after dinner at the theatre-..” said Chris when Jace arrived and cut off him.
“Jazz and I each have personal theatres let’s just watch a movie there, and also dad’s not home so we can sleep over afterwards”
Everyone agreed and then we left for the class. The last 3 classes were going by so quickly, only because I was with Tristan the whole time. We walked together, talked, joked around, even flirted a little.
I got home noticing that my dad’s car wasn’t here so it means with his car, dad left. I always knew he’ll leave for work sooner or later, not that I want him too, cause I really don’t, I just, maybe got used to it as time passed.
I was greeted by our car fetcher, Brent. He is about 50 plus.
“Good afternoon, Ms. Jazz, how was your day?”
“It was fine Brent, did Dad tell you where he was going”
“Matter of fact he told me to tell you he was going to New York for a business trip. He’ll be back in about a week max” he said taking the keys to my car. “He informed me to tell you he had a gift for both, jazz and you.” Typical Dad, he leaves, feel guilty, give gifts, and move on.
“Is it already in my room?” I asked dryly, I didn’t even care about the gift but after hearing what Brent said it was, my mind changed and I suddenly got excited.
“It’s in the garage Miss, I know you’ll love it” we were both about to go to the garage when Jace appeared. I told him the news and now we both are heading for the garage.
I was very surprised at the sight. I realized we still have identical cars, mine was red and his was black. I noticed what type of car it was. It was a Lamborghini sesto element. My jaw dropped at the realization. Ok I love it already.
“wow” was the only thing I could possibly say. Jace just nodded. Looking surprised as well. I noticed mine had a writing on the side saying ‘Jazz’ and some musical notes while Jace’s has ‘jace’ written on it and some random tribal shapes around it.
Then I realized. I can’t stand here all day, I need to get ready for the little movie marathon we were about to do with the guys. So I told Jace to get ready and that we needed to get the snacks ready. We agreed that we were using my personal theater cause mine was a little bigger. So I went to freshen up while Jace gets the snacks ready.
I went to my room and headed for the bathroom. I took a 15 minute shower then changed into a pair of jean shorts, a pink loose shirt that has ‘SWAG’ written across it, and a pair of ankle boots. I curled my hair on the tips to make it look more natural and applied a little eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.
I faced my mirror looking pleased. I did quite well, I wanted a very homey and natural look and I achieved it. You’re maybe wondering, why go to so much trouble when your only having a movie marathon? Well to answer your question, I want to look good because Tristan was coming. I want to impress him. I sure hope that Ash doesn’t screw this up for me, I will kill him if he do, he always make the best effort to annoy me, he always picks on me and goes uber competitive. I do think he’s hot though.. wait ! what? Did I just said that? Oh God I just did.
Nevermind I’ll just think about Tristan some more. I won’t let anyone ruin this for me.
It was almost 8:00 when I hear the door bell rang and I hurried to get it. It was probably Tristan and Ash. I was right.
“hey Jazzy” Ash said.
“Hey Ashy” woah that sounded weird. Oh well, I can’t take it back now.
“wow petnames huh?” Tristan said with a little bit disappointment. “Hey jazz” he said shaking the disappointment off.
“Hey” was the only thing I could say. I motion for them to come inside so they did.
“hey guys, need help here” Jace shouted from the kitchen. We quickly went there and helped him carry the snack to my theatre room.
We decided to watch Snow white and the huntsman. Tristan sat beside me and Ash sat on the other side. I didn’t much pay attention on the movie cause Tristan and I continued to talk. About half way through the movie, Ash excused himself and walked out before anybody could say something or ask why.
I followed him outside. I was curious and also worried. Yes, I’ll admit it I’m worried.
“where are you going?” I asked eager to know.
“To get fresh air?” it sounded more like a question than an answer.
“what’s wrong?”
“You like him do you?” he asked. I was surprised by his question but I knew who he meant.
“I don’t know yet, why?” I was serious this time, and I was also telling the truth, I didn’t know yet.
“He’s a player Jazz, he’ll leads you on, Gets you, Gets in your pants and then throw you like trash.”
“He’s your cousin” I was confused now. He looked serious and sincere for once.
“I know, and I love him to bits but, I know him Jazz, I don’t want to see you hurt” he said so lightly only I could hear.
I was taken aback by what he said . that was out of the blue.

Yeah guys that was chapter 6 sorry it took so long, I really have been busy, I’ll do my best on the next one, I hope you liked it.
