"Alright, Mary turn up the hype engine in 3,2,1" I said as I pushed the accelerator throttle down.

"Done, shifting controls to Delta-05," She informed the crew.

"Receiving Delta-05," Kim responded, "I received Delta-05 switching to the tertiary engines turning off the hype."

"Navigation system is working," Tronson informed.

"Yeah make sure you switch it to T-Tec, we don't want to end up Gliese 436 b like last time!" Donson replied.

"I remember that," Mike recalled, "That ice planet that is on fire." (that's a real planet)

"Don't worry, I learned my lesson." Tronson responded.

"You know," Suzen spoke as she redirected the hydrogen, "I still don't know how that works."

Mary replied, "I'll explain it, it's pretty simple."

"Like you in bed."Mark laughed.

I chuckled as I pressed the bottom exhaust, I designed the tertiary engine system to take some load off the crew, otherwise we'd needed to off made 20 more steps.

"Okay," I muttered, "Here we go!"

I looked dead ahead at the portal. It was beside Earth's moon. Large metallic structure with blue plasma transporting us to the other side of the galaxy via wormhole.

"Uh Swindon," Mark called out, "The CO exhaust is open!"

"What," I took my eyes off the portal and to him, "Close it and check for any other leaks."

"Shit!" Gordon blurted, "I lost controls to the quinary engines, switching to the senary ones."

"Got it," I hastily moved to my controls, "Switching from Delta-05 to Foxtrot-05."

Kim responded, "Disengaging Delta-05... I've disengaged Delta-05."

"Alright," I let out a sigh, "We're fine,the cargo's fine."

Good thing to, the ship entered the wormhole like a breeze. I stared out the window, I always did. You couldn't not look at the wormhole once you were in it.
Colours that you've never seen before in vibrant patterns and shapes. Shapes which were impossible to make, it was like travelling through the 4th dimension, no it was travelling through the 4th dimension. Seeing parts of yourself and your ship that you couldn't see... That you couldn't see.

I looked at where the problem in my ship lied, except there was no problem. The CO exhaust was broken from being shut whilst still being shut.
And the quinary engines, they were still on!

No it's fine, stay calm the ship can handle extra thrust especially with foxtrot-06.
Shit, we're using foxtrot-05, wait no, I breathed deep once again. I travelled using this engine setup before, it worked then, surely it would work now right?
