"... I think I know how to get back to Earth."

Smiles lit up, I saw the hope in their faces exponentially grow.

"How?!" Kim yelled.

"We got teleported to the egde of the universe. Now, the universe expands because of dark energy. No one knows much about it, but," I practically ran to the computer.

Mark responded hastily, "But what?"

"Residue of dark energy is present, or it should be."

I checked the computers and once again, had to maths and science. Alot of maths and science.

Mary sat next to me, just as she was going to write, he looked at the other two, "You going to help?"

"3 geniuses and a hotty in her bra solving something that shouldn't be solved, what a sight." I commented.

"Hey?! I don't comment on your lack of shoes."

"Mark, Mary, are my feet attractive?"

"No."

I chuckled. I couldn't see Kim's face, but I assumed it was in slight disbelief.

After 10 minutes, we were finished. Finally.

"Okay," I concluded, "So there is residue of dark energy."

"And how does this help us get to Earth?" Mark asked.

"Remember back at university, instead of doing my superstate project I was focusing on black holes and whatnot?"

"How could I forget, it's the only C I got."

"Well, your C in that project, saved our asses. Dark energy expands the universe, perhaps the only thing capable of going faster than light. As such, we can go in a black hole, and in theory out of it."

Kim protested, "We are trying to fling around the black hole, no-"

"Wait," Mary interrupted, "We aren't using the dark energy as fuel to get to Earth?"

"No," I rubbed my head, "We are using it to get in and out of a black hole."

"Why though?" Mark yelled, "Stop beating around the bush and just speak."

"Okay, we don't know what's going on inside a black hole. But, back in university, I calculated that the probability of a worm hole, or even time travel past the event horizon, its 90%."

"H-how?" Mary questioned

"Because black holes defy the laws of physics. As such there are different probabilites."

I walked to the table, the chairs are more comfy. The other followed.

"Either we go completely in a black hole, and our spaghettified bodies gets transported through a wormhole and out a white hole either in this universe, or outside of it."

"Or..."

"Or, below the even horizon before we go too deep, in theory there's a layer where due to time dilatation of even the smallest distance, a layer where time and reality blur. Just like what we are experiencing."

I breathed, "On the military spaceship, the events that I experienced, they happened because the laws of physics bend when we are so close to the breaking of time."

"And this is important how?"

"We can use this fact to bend or break reality. A wormhole could appear in that layer. The secret to time travel though, that's what we need."

"Again, why is it important?"

"Because," I breathed and looked down, "Earth is dead."
