Chapter 6 : Oh dear we have to be more careful

 When Nico woke up, he felt something warm next to him. He turned over and his face shoved itself into a mop of shaggy blonde hair. Oh dear. If they wanted to stay secret, this could not happen, at all. He tickled his boyfriend. It was a shame to wake him up, he looked so good, but a, he had a shift in the infirmary to get to, and b, he was not ready to tell everyone about them and if they were caught sleeping together, well let's just say that it would be fairly obvious. What time was it? He was going to have to check in a second. Will turned towards Nico,

'Why did you tickle me? You could have shaken me awake. Anyway what time is it?'

'I don't know. I was going to check when I had woken you up.' Nico said, reaching for the clock' Oh... Oh you just missed your shift at the infirmary. It is 11:30. How in Hades are you going to explain that? Kayla is going to kill you! The head councillor not turning up for work on time.'

' It is your fault Neeks, you don't set an alarm EVER. I'll just ignore her too penetrating questions, say I went on a walk coz I couldn't sleep. Fell asleep in the woods. Slept in. That should get her off my shoulders for one time, but if we ever do this again, we are setting an alarm, Ok?'Will jumped up, Nico rolling after him.

'Fine, just not before 7:00 Ok? We really do need to be more careful, if we do not want anyone finding out. 'Nico agreed. Will kissed him once before he headed out the door, towards the Apollo cabin. Nico watched him go, suddenly cold. He wondered why for a second, and then shook his head. He was just going to head to the woods for a bit to clear his head. He grabbed a strawberry jam sandwich from the mini fridge, and pulled open the Hades cabin door, pushing his sword into his belt. He started wandering towards the woods, taking bites of his sandwich.

Time skip, due to the fact that nothing interesting happened in the woods. J

When he got back to camp, it was about half an hour before lunch, so Nico decided to go and have a go on the climbing wall. He started pulling himself up the wall, occasional lava torrents coming down and almost hitting him, but he avoided them at the last moment. This kept going until nearly the top, climb, dodge, climb, dodge. Then an unusually large sheet came down, Nico neatly dodged it, but his shoulder got burned, and against his boyfriend's wishes, he shadow travelled and came out in the infirmary.

'NICO DI ANGELO! HOW MANY TIMES?? NO SHADDOW TRAVELING FOR A MONTH I SAID, 2 WEEKS AGO!' yelled his shocked boyfriend, who, luckily was at the bandage station, not tending a patient.

'I got burned on the climbing wall, I did not mean to, I just did it accidentally.' Nico retorted

'Sorry, Neeks, I was shocked. But today here, and, now, let's see this burn.' Replied Will, somewhat calmer, pulling Nico into a private room and asked him to pull off his shirt, Nico, blushing, compiled, thinking about his numerous scars from his fights out of camp, but Will made no comment and put his fingers over the burn. Nico felt a tingling in his shoulder, and turned to see it toning to the rest of his skin, the pain disappearing under Will's fingers. He stared at the blonde boy in shock.

'How in Hades did you do that? I knew that you were good at healing, but that is a miracle in a boy.' Nico questioned his boyfriend. Will blushed,

'It is my gift from Apollo, Healing. Well that and- no I'll show you tonight –We'll sneak out, but you, Di Angelo are getting into bed until dinner. You just shadow travelled. You need rest.'

'Fine, but only until dinner.' Remarked Nico, and as soon as he got into bed, he was out for the count.

Dream

Nico was in the dining pavilion, watching his sister converse with Zoe Nightshade, the previous Lieutenant of Artemis.

'It cannot be cured, not quickly at any rate. 'Complained the girl who died later on the same quest that his sister had died on.

'But how did it happen?' Questioned his sister. Just seeing her in a dream made tears spring to his eyes.

Then the dream changed.

A giant metal statue was running towards Percy, Bianca, Grover, Thalia and Zoe. Percy and Bianca were talking.

'Distract it.' Percy instructed ' I'll just have to time it right'

Nico saw Bianca's jaw set.' No, I'll go.'

'You can't, you're new at this, you'll die!' Challenged Percy.

'It's my fault that the monster came after us. It's my responsibility. Here' Bianca picked up a little mythomagic statue, the Hades one that Percy had said she had asked him to give me when he came back from the quest 'If anything happens, , give this to Nico. Tell him' here she paused 'I'm sorry' and she ran towards the statue.

'Bianca, NO!'Percy yelled after her, but she was not stopping. Then there was a voice, singing:

Nico woke up to Will holding him, singing. His boyfriend seemed extremely worried. He assumed he had had another fairly obvious nightmare again. Oh dear. Anywhere but the infirmary with Will watching. The raven haired boy reached up and took Will's face.

'I'm fine, Sunshine. Just a nightmare. Nothing I cannot handle. Please do not worry. Let's just get some dinner.'

'Nico, don't try to stop me from taking care of you. I know you have handled it alone in the past, but you don't have to any more. I am literally your boyfriend. I can help you. Seriously Nico. Please don't try to handle this alone. It could damage your mental health even more than you already. It's not good for you to shut your feelings up. You already did enough of that to last a lifetime over the past 3 years. I know you couldn't-' Will was cut off mid-lecture by his boyfriend pulling him down and kissing him.

'Will, I'm hungry. We can continue this after campfire. I want dinner. NOW.' Nico got up and pulled Will towards the pavilion, and Will, not seeing any harm in dinner, complied.

Time skip due to the fact I am so sorry that I have not updated in AGES(sooooooo sorry sorry sorry Homework, books, parents telling you to do things, u know how it is. Pls do not throw heavy copies of the burning maze or anything else at me!!! I have the Easter hols now so loads of time to update and Will make up for lost time. J)

Nico was snuggled up next to Will on the fringes of the campfire, and they pretty much were ignoring the rest of the world, just enjoying each other's company. Then Percy came up, just because the gods WOULD have to ruin a perfect evening. Dang you Olympians.

IK, IK, IK, this makes no sense, but I hate them sometimes.

'Guys, what? Are you two a thing?

sorry to be mean but i have to go make lunch then bake something for my dad as it is his b-day and I have some one-shots to finish reading. Thanks for reading! I will see you for my last updates for 2 weeks(unless I can smuggle the computer on holiday somehow??)tomorrow. thanks for reading!
