Chapter 9: Facing Homophobes

Just to say I am completely fine with homosexuals and am Bi myself so please don't mention this in the comments, what I am about to write as it is a trigger –Homophobic Drew, one mention of f***ot and it is censored- just a warning.

They eventually had to leave Nico's cabin to go to dinner and face the camp. They were around halfway to the pavilion when Drew came up and started yelling at them.

'The pair of you are unnatural, freaks, F***ots why can't you just be with girls like NORMAL boys. 'She looked like she was going to carry on so Nico slapped her. He thought about taking further action, but Piper suddenly dove in. Punching, kicking, screaming at Drew, Giving Nico time to pull out his stygian iron sword and hold it out, luckily, Will grabbed him before he could touch Drew with it, preventing Nico from sending her soul down to his father with the sword. Jason ran up and pulled his girlfriend off of the now unconscious Drew, Piper panting and red-faced, although not screaming anymore, which was an improvement on the mad Piper screaming about drew being a 'homophobic asshole who can't keep her opinions to her shitty self' Pls just pretend she said that and sorry about the swears.. they just seemed to fit?? Will released Nico and ran over to Drew to check Piper had not given her internal organ damage, then Jason let go of Piper and along with Will, picked her up and carried her off to the infirmary.

Time-skip because I cannot work out how to do this. TO THE PAVILLION!

Nico had just finished his lasagne when Will came in, looking annoyed.

'Nico,did you have to almost suck Drew's soul out, as although she did insult us, shesustained enough damage from Piper to be in the infirmary for a good week. Addthat to the stygian Iron touch, she'll be in a coma for at least three weeks , leaving piper to run the Aphrodite cabin on her own!'

Nico handed Will a hotdog covered in Mustard and Ketchup, and sighed

'Yes Will I know. I am sorry; my temper got the better of me. You know that happens quite lot.'

Nico stole a piece of Will's hotdog, and ate it, then instantly spat it out

'Ew that is Disgusting. How do you like that stuff?' He layghed, which in turn made Will laugh. Then someone behind them on the Hermes table started giggling. Nico stopped abruptly, startled at the noise, which only made his boyfriend laugh all the harder. The rest of the Hermes cabin soon joined in, after the girl who had seen the entire thing explained (between giggles) and what had transpired passed around the pavilion quickly. Nico's mind went into fight or flight mode, extra sensitive even for a demigod edition. Will must have noticed him panicking as he swallowed his last bite of saucy hotdog and suggested

'Neeks, how about we go and check up on Drew? It is my shift in a bit anyway'

Nico agreed and they headed off to the infirmary. When they got there Drew was looking a little less pale, or at least better than she did when Nico almost sucked out her soul. Kayla came in,

'Hey boys. Good to see you checking up on Drew. Nico, has Will told you the amount of damage you have done to her?'

Nico interrupted before he could get a duplicate of the speech Will gave him barely half an hour ago.

'Yes he has told me and I am very sorry. My anger got the better of me, I pulled out my sword and you know the rest.'

'And Will?' Kayla asked 'Do yourself a favour and let me take your night shift for the next month and get some sleep. I am actually ORDERING you to do this as I am your deputy and I say you need sleep. No arguments! Nico, get him out of here and do not let him come in here after his first shift. He may be a medic but he is no good at looking after himself. Night big brother' Kayla herded them both out the door.' And Will, If you come back for a SINGLE night shift in the next 4 weeks, I personally will ensure you do not leave a private room in the infirmary until you have got a week's rest with Nico looking after you for a week.' (HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHE)

Will pulled Nico away very quickly after she said that.

HEhe I literally have no idea what is going to happen next. Is Will going to go to go to the infirmary an try to work a night-shift or not? tell me wat you want in the comments
