The morning sun rose, and Zarina was as usual, the last person to awaken from slumber. She tiredly walked out of her shared cabin, her eyes adjusting to the bright light above her. She noticed the crew on the upper deck, and joined them. First person to notice her was Sarah, the woman stifling a laugh. "you look like hell."

Zarina raised her pierced eyebrow, "You think so? I was tryna be like you. " Sarah scoffed and elbowed Zarina's ribs playfully as they continued to stare out. Three Bridges came into view and Zarina couldn't wait to meet up with old friends. only thing she didn't like about Three Bridges, was the royals. they were a bunch of snobs cowering inside their castle walls.

"So, you and Jacob, last night, what's that about?" Sarah questioned, smirking when Zarina's remained stunned for a moment. Sarah wouldn't she was eavesdropping but she just so happened to walk past where they were and noticed how close the two sat to each other. zarina would never left jacob sit that close to her, so you could imagine the surprised expression on Sarah's face when she spotted the duo.

Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she stammered, "Nothing happened, he just..thanked me, that's all." Fidgeting with the rings on her fingers, Zarina avoided eye contact and continued to stare ahead of her

Sarah hummed, obviously seeing through Zarina's act. zarina never stuttered. let alone, not, make eye contact with someone. She then spotted the said man arrive from below deck, taking a spot next to Zarina. Sarah chuckled lowkey, slightly scooting away from the two. "GoodMorning, Zarina. Sarah." Jacob greeted the two.

Zarina grimaced and tried to step away but Sarah gently pushed her back in place. Forcing her to stay in the middle of them. She continued to stare out into the horizon, trying her best to ignore the man beside her. Though, the feeling of his eyes on her would not go away. So, she flicked her eyes over at him, meeting his gaze. Immediately, the man snapped his eyes away from her, clearing his throat. 'That's what I thought.'

Once their ship came into view, Zarina could hear the excitement coming from the port. She was glad to be home. the woman smiled at her old friends, waving at the little kids who screamed her name. "It's good to be home at last, but it will be a short stay, I'm afraid. Captain Crow will visit the king and queen at first light. And when the ship is ready, we'll be off to kill a monster!" Sarah announced, earning the crowds cheer.

Old Nick jumped up, adding, "We're going after the Red Bluster! So if this be our last visit to Three Bridges, I expect some right, proper debauchery!" The crowd cheered louder and stepped closer to the ship, inspired by the sea hunters optimistic and courageous behavior. "Go on, then. Make way for the hunters."
