Approaching the sandy shores, Zarina was the first to slide off of the red sea beast, holding her hands out to catch Maisie and Blue while Jacob carried their things. Jacob, landing right next to her, placed his items down and turned to Red. "Well, girl, this has been an improbable adventure. And I thank you for all you've done, but, uh, it's time to go home now."

Red growled softly, appreciating his kind words...for once.

Grabbing the spear, Jacob then added, "And I promise I'll never hunt sea monsters again. No more monster hunting!' Raising the spear over his head he proceeded to slam it down on his knee. Unfortunately, it did give him the result he wanted and only caused him to go through a wave of pain. Maisie grimaced at the attempt while Zarina did her best to not burst out into laughter, her hand covering her witty grin.

"Hang about. Okay. No more!" Again, he swung the long spear onto his other knee and it did not snap in half. "No more!" He repeated again, this time, slamming the spear against a rock but it ricocheted back and hit him in the face.

Zarina snickered beside him, placing her hands on his shoulders. "You'll get it next time. Todays just not that day." She consoled him. Zarina thought she couldn't bare watching him do it again, he was really embarrassing himself in front of Red.

Jacob sighed, placing his hand around her waist and looking up at Red. "Look, you understand the point I'm trying to make here, right? It's a...It's a symbolic gesture." Red softly growls in return, understanding and appreciating his thoughtful gesture.

Maisie smiled, "I think she understands."

Zarina and Jacob turned to the little girl and flicked their eyes down at Blue. Blue happily licks the side of Maisie's cheeks. Zarina sending Maisie a sad smile, gently slipped Blue out of her hands. "Alright, you blue little weirdo. Time to go home." Blue critters in response and licks the side of Zarina's face as well, making her giggle. Her boots cut through the ocean waves crashing into the shore, and she lowers him down, watching him float in the water.

Making her way back to Jacob, they watch Maisie run up to red and place her arms over Reds rough surface. "Go on, girl. Go home." Suddenly, Red's soft demeanor tenses as her eyes drift away from Maisie and look out into the horizon. She begins to sniff something out and lean herself up. "Red?"

The bluster, ignoring Maisie's call, proceeds to move forward. The three shared a confused look and follow Red's gaze over the hill. Zarina's eyes widened and her eyebrows furrowed. "Oh crap."
