7: Unexpected News From Him

      It's 6:00 a.m., and Emily already wake up. She's still sleepy after studying to beat Alan and Roman in test so that she can be number 1. But she keep resisting it by get up from bed, go the the bathroom and take a bath. In 6:30 a.m., she is ready to go to school. "Good morning Mom, Dad." Said Emily. But her parents focused on something else. Still, Emily's mother, Kayla, ask her to watch the morning news. Emily was shocked, speechless because the news is about Alan's family death. She even shocked to hear that only Alan and his little sister are alive. She look while still not believe in it. She suddenly take her phone, call Roman. "Answer it Roman!!!" Shouted Emily. Roman then pick up his phone, asking question to Emily. "You saw it didn't you, about Alan's family." Emily shocked, as she thought that it's actually not real. As she shocked, while sit on her bed, her eyes started to dropping tears, as he still care of Alan no matter how bad Alan is. She quickly end her call between Roman and call Alan to make sure he is ok. "Alan, what happen? Please call me Al, please!" Mumbled her as she is trying to call Alan. Unfortunately, he didn't answer. As she thought that bad things happen to him, she rushed to go to his house. She run through the her door, and wear her shoes before she go to school, as soon as she get through the door, she see Alan, waiting in front of the door.

      Emily was shocked, she immediately check on Alan. She realised that Alan's arm got cemented since his arm broke in the fight between the killer. "What happen Alan? Why is your arm broke? Are you okay? Are you the only one who made it? How's anyone else? How's little Shaun?" Asked her with much questions. Alan stay silent, staring at the floor. His face shows much pain. Yet, he forced himself to smile, then talk to Emily with low tone voice. He said "Let's go to school, Roman must have been waiting for us right now". Emily look at him, while her eyes getting glassy, she smile and said "Yeah, let's go Alan, don't want him to be alone right?" Alan then walk to the school while Emily just following him from behind. She silently cry, as her face can't take it anymore, she stopped smile. As Alan, looks emotionless, keep walking. After a scenic walk, they finally arrived. Roman shocked, immediately check on Alan. He then see Emily, just giving no sign for Roman as he shouldn't mention anything about Alan's conditions. "Sorry I'm late bro, I overslept last night." Said Alan while he fake his smile to not show his problem." Roman know that, Alan is not himself anymore. "Yeah, only this time you stupid dumbshit." Said Roman knowing that there's nothing can be done. Three of them then walk into the class.

      Alan didn't stop smiling while he walk to his class. Roman look at him, suddenly say "Don't fake your smile man, you look like an ass trying to hide your pain away. You even tired doing it all the time, we all know it. Just, stop forcing yourself now." Alan look at him, with his emotionless face. "Alan, I'm sorry that happen to you, we really sorry man." Add Roman. While Alan's eyes start to tears apart, he slowly talk "They killed my family, ruined Barbara's life. I'm the one who should die. They're good people Roman. They are kind. Why God didn't kill me back there." Roman look at him, while realised that Alan's also have a soft spot for someone, and that person is his little sister. Alan then see behind Roman, Harold is being smuggled by the older bullies. "Roman, look behind you. Harold needs you." Said him to Roman. Roman see it, then go through them. "Hey, 4 of you, what are you doing? Bullying is forbidden in this school. You better stop before I report this to the principal!" Said Roman. Those bullies didn't even care about Roman's warning, they instead try to land a punch on Roman.

      Roman, block the punch easily, then kick one of them. "Harold, get the fuck out from here! NOW!" said him. Harold then run away from them, as he asked for help. 2 of them went to capture Harold so that they can take Harold's money. "Harold, you can't run away from me you son's of bitch! U better come here you stupid shithead!" Said one of them bullies. Alan looks at Harold, crying ask for help. "Help him Em, he needs help." Said Alan. Emily looks at Alan, then nod and went to help Harold. She run straight to one of them bullies and ram him. "Harold, go to principal's room now! Report to him about what's going on. NOW!" Said Emily. Harold keeps running, as his hopes started to raise up. He keep running, until he see it, the principal room. He smile, as he wants to go there, he then got grabbed by one of them. Harold suddenly get punched in the face, as he suddenly get into the toilet. He beg him to stop. "Please stop! I'll give it to you! Take my money, just take it dammit!" The bully didn't listen, yet, he keep punching and kicking Harold as he is a dog. "You should listen to us, wimp. Now look at you, no one's gonna help you, dickhead. We will take the money, and your ass gonna get pinned by us today. This is all your fault." Said him. Harold cry, as he right now in so much pain.
