10: I Miss You, Barbara

      After Alan come home, he rushed to his bathroom. He take a look of himself, and he know that he did something terrible. "What have I done, I just killed a lot of person. WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!" Shouted him, as he couldn't believe what he did. His actions of killing the guards and Kobi cannot be undo. He even feels like he's not the same anymore. "I should stop, it's not worth it. It's not worth it." Said him, while he is crying. As he keep on crying. the picture of him with Barbara suddenly out of his pocket. He realise it and quickly take it before the water could absorb into that picture. As he keep on looking the picture, he remember the past between him and Barbara. 5 years ago, both of them went to the arcade with permission of their parents. "Alan what are you doing?!! We almost win!!! Use the combo!!! USE THE COMBO!!!" Said Barbara to Alan.

      The arcade is the greatest place that both of them ever went. The place that both of them create a lot of memory. Clearly, it's the greatest memory that Alan ever have. "ARGHHHH!!! Almost there, I almost beat Nova!" Said Alan, sad because he lost the games. "I told you to use the combo. You didn't listen to me. Now I'm sad." Said Barbara, as she tried to act sad. "LOL. You didn't even help me. Anyways Barb, do you want to eat something? I can buy it because I have a lot of money." Said Alan, showing of his money at her. "Lemme guess, you steal it from another person? Alan, stop bullying people. Please." Said Barbara as she thought Alan steal it from his prey. "No, I work hard for these money. I helped mom, dad, and did some of Kenny's homework. Shaun just give it to me since he didn't know what it is." Said Alan, as she tried to convince Barbara. Barbara decided to believe her brother. "Can we have that pizza? I really like pizza. Especially from this arcade! THIS IS THE GREATEST ARCADE WE EVER MET!" Shouted her, made some people with sense of humor support her statement. "Well, it's your birthday. How can I use bully money to my cutest little sister. For you, I will be the best brother that you ever have." Said Alan, as he walked with her to the pizza stall. "I know you will do it, you are the greatest brother I ever have. I will always love you." Said Barbara. Alan stopped for a while, as he hugged his little sister. Suddenly, a guy with camera ask if he can take 4 photos for a dollar. Both of them agree and paid him to take the pictures.

      As Alan remembered the past, he cry in the bathroom. He cry, as he miss his little sister so much. "Barbara, please wake up. I miss you so much. Please, God. Wake Barbara up for me please. I'm begging you. I miss her so much. Please..." Begged Alan, as he can't take it anymore. He continue his crying. He need it. "Please, I want to hug her again, I want to listen to her voice again, I want to kiss her forehead while she's awake again. I want her to wake up. I miss her so much. I'll do anything, just wake her up. Please." Said Alan, while sobbing. He is so clueless on how to make Barbara wake up from coma. As Alan bear the unbearable pain, he keep on crying. As he sits on floor, he wish that it was him in the hospital bed, crying and hoping that Barbara is awake.

The next morning, he go to the hospital to visit Barbara. As he is not a good brother, he will always visit her once a month. After some registration, he manage to visit his little sister. Barbara is 12 years old now, she has been in Coma for 5 years. Her hair is so long that it reaches her bottom body, yet she's still beautiful in Alan eyes. As for Alan, he look at Barbara. "Hey Barb, I'm back to visit you. Today is your birthday, and also mine. 4 August, the day we got born. Happy birthday Barb." Said Alan to Barb, although Barbara couldn't listen to her. As for Alan, he realise that Barbara's hair is already long but he can't cut it since he doesn't get her permission. Alan respect his little sister privacy so much. "When you awake, we will go to barbershop, ask them to cut your hair nicely. You will loke like a princess again, just like 5 years ago." Said Alan again, as his eyes start to turn into a glass. He hold her hand, kiss the hand and the forehead. "I'm sorry Barbara, I can't help you back then. I was too weak. I promise you, I will be stronger for you. I promise, next time someone hurt you, I hurt them back. Just wake up for me please." Said Alan, while his tears fall. As he use her hand to make it like she touch her face calmly, Alan ready to leave so that he can continue his plan. "1 down, 11 left. They will pay for it, with their blood." Said Alan angrily.

In the afternoon, Alan then come back home, as he want to create another Exoskeleton, he see his uncle, Franklin. "Alan, did you go to hospital to celebrate her birthday?" Asked Frank, as he holding a box of cake. "Yeah, did you just come back from work?" Asked Alan. "Well, uhhh, I take a break since today is her and your birthday. I want to spend my times with my niece since I always busy with work. I thought it would be nice for me to celebrate it." Answered Frank. Alan look at him, then walk to him as he want to hold that cake. "Thank you Alan. I'll open the door." Said Frank, as he take his keys from his pocket. Both of them then get into the house and eat the food that Frank buy for them. As both of them drinking bear, since Alan is officially 18, both of them get drunk and start to act stupid. Alan laugh so hard, since his uncle is good at jokes. Both of them having their life in the lifetime. As for Frank, he started to feel sleepy. Alan take him to sleep on the couch as he keep on drinking beer. 5 hours passed, Alan wake up from his drunk sleep. Alan look at the couch and see his uncle isn't there. His head still feels light since he deeply drink the beer. "Uncle Frank, where are you?" Asked Alan. He then see his uncle is outside the house, smoking his cigarettes. He also see that his uncle is holding a file from Macro-Band, place where his late father used to work. "Uncle, what is that? Why did Macro-Band send you a file?" Asked Alan. Franklin look at him, while give him the file. "Open it Alan, just open it first." Said Franklin, while he still smoke his cigarettes. As Alan open it, Alan shocked that Roberto Silva wanted to see him for offer to go to the "Macro-Band Seattle University", a brand new university from Macro-Band company. As Alan deeply read the file, he also have been mentioned to come as he need to take his father's will. "It's a new page for you Alan, I know that you don't want to study further. But think about this. It's the chance for you to go up in the future." Said Franklin again. Alan sit on the chair, while he still speechless. If he want his father's will, he need to join the university.

Suddenly, he remember that this might be chance to treat Barbara and wake her up. He only care about Barbara in his life. As he make his decision, he decided to join the university. "I want to join the university." Said Alan, as he smile in front of his uncle.
