18: Past Vs Future

Both of them finally reach they're school. They get off from the bus. As both of them keep on talking, Emily came to them. "Hey guys, there you are. What took you so long?" Said her. As they meet, Roman text Emily that the class is about to start. Three of them then rush to the class. As soon as they get into the class, there's no one else except Roman himself. "Hahahaha, so funny Roman. You did know that I lost my schedule right? Yet you pranked me. Very funny." Said her in sarcastic voice. Alan just let his little giggles out. Then, one by one other students get into the class. As 4 of them talk, Alan couldn't sit properly because of his pain. His pain is too strong that even painkiller couldn't stop it. But, he did endure it. Then, the lecturer come to the class. "Good morning everyone, please get yourself ready for today classes. I know, this is only a second day, but you need to get ready for it. This is to test your physical movement and your wits to be able to create your strategy." Said him. "And yes, the only lecturer in your class is me, since I am the one who is capable to teach all of it." Said him again.

"Today, I want to see how you fight. Since you joined military courses, you need to fight with all of your heart. I will pick only 8 people to fight in stage."

"How about those who didn't get pick to fight sir?" Asked one of the students.

"You will fight in next week, those who already fight this week can see the next week fight. Maybe you can something from it."

"But what if we lose? Does that mean we fail the class?" Asked another student.

"Did I said it's a fucking test? No it's class time dipshit. Well, any question? Because I want to start it right now. Alan, Harold, Jamie and Mary, you are Group A. Roman, Emily, Trisha and Rizqi, you are Group B. Each group will fight each other and if you can hold, champion from Group A will fight champion from Group B. If all of you are ready, Alan, you will fight Harold."

Harold was shocked, because not only he needs to fight his friend, he also going to fight someone that used to bully him. As for Alan, he's going to fight someone that he used to bullied. Half of himself didn't want it to happen. Alan raised his arm, as he ask a request. "Sir, can I fight with another person?". Harold somehow offended with Alan. He thought that Alan underestimate him, while Alan just don't want to fight with guilt. "Don't do that Alan! I want you to fight me! We are not kids anymore. I won't run away anymore. We all know that!" Said Harold, as he looks at Alan with anger. Alan saw his face, he realised that he needs to fight him, as Harold wants. "Alan? Perhaps you still want to change opponent?" Said Harry, his lecturer.

"No sir, I will fight Harold."

"You sure? Things might get ugly."

"Yes sir, I'm sure."

Harold has some relief in himself since Alan wants to fight him. Harold and Alan then go to the podium to fight each other. As they get onto the podium, a holograph appears in front of them so that they can pick which weapon they want to use. Harold take his time to pick his favourable weapon. As for Alan, he choose bare hand as his close combat skills still low. He still remember how his attack get repelled by Joshua. He decided to use this chance to practice. "Why the hell did he choose bare hand?" Thought Harold. He knows that Alan is strong, so he choose Kinetic Glove to fight him. The more he move his hands, the more power he spread. Alan just get himself ready, as he also feel the pain on his stomach. "Well shit. He use weapon while you didn't Alan. Still wanna continue?" Said Harry again. Alan nodded, mean yes. Harry understand, he then blow his whistle so that they can start to fight each other.

Harold move his hands so that he can collect kinetic energy from it. Alan run straight to him, as he jump and try to kick Harold in the face. Harold manage to block it, and he start to clap his hands as he release huge amount of energy from it. Alan manage to avoid it, try to attack Harold again. He manage to land some of his punch to Harold's face although Harold did punch Alan's stomach. He groan so hard, everyone can hear it. As for Harry, he did notice Alan's movement is a too sturdy. Harold thought he punched Alan too hard, luckily Alan manage to cover his pain and kick Harold's chest as he holds Harold's hands. He non-stop kicked him. Harold just wiggle his hands as he can't do anything about it. He then pick his hand to create a wave that cause Alan let his hand off. Harold see this opportunity, he punch Alan with a small amount of energy. Enough to make Alan thrown away from him.

As for Alan, he remembered it again. How Joshua make him flew by punching him. His memory just replaying the scene of him fighting Joshua. Somehow, Alan realised that Harold's fighting pattern is almost similar as Joshua. "It's almost the same, he's fighting skills is still shitty but it's almost the same as Joshua." Thought Alan. He then try to remember back his pattern when he fought Joshua. Although there's still some aspect absents in his situation, he'll improvise it. Alan sprint to Harold, causing Harold to swing his arm to Alan. Alan somehow dodge it, by ducking and kick Harold's stomach. After that, he grab Harold's glove and forcefully take it out of Harold's hand. He then throw it to Harold after shook it for a moment, cause the glove to release a strong kinetic energy wave cause Harold to thrown out of the ring. Alan fell on his knees, groaning in pain, as his fight with Joshua leave a lot of bruises. At this point, painkiller won't do anything. He try to get up, but it's too painful for him. Harry see it, take his strong painkiller injector. He walk to Alan, inject the painkiller on his back. "You strong, I don't even know who or what are you fighting, but all I can say is you are strong. Normal people usually die by now." Said him to Alan. As Alan started to feel better, he then lay down for a while, as he wants to rest. Roman go to check on Harold, while Emily go to check on Alan.

Harold is doing all fine, he just has a minor injury. As for Emily, she can't believe what have she seen. Bruises, scars all over Alan's body, yet Alan still manage to win against Harold. Harry look at Emily, ask her something. "You know what happened to him?"

"No sir, he's always doing fine, even this morning. He's still manage to run."

"Okay then, let's bring him to sick bay. He's not doing well."

"Yes sir."

Emily and Harry then bring Alan to sick bay to get treatment. Alan still groaning, as his body not fully numb to the pain. "Alan win this fight for today, but we have to postpone our fight for today. Now, do your homework from page 7 until page 12. I want it to be finished by next week. Those who didn't do the homework will be considered as absent. GOT IT???!!!" Said Harry again. All the class start to groan in pain as they can't believe in it.
