VALERIE WATCHED Chrissy carefully as they walk across the field. "Are you sure about this?" She asked, feeling uneasy after Chrissy told her what they were doing. "Yes. I'm sure." Chrissy nods and Val sighs. "Okay, your call, Chris." She tells her quietly.

"I'm glad you're a good friend..." Chrissy reached out and grabbed her hand gently so Val glanced at her right away. "Of course." Val squeezed her hand right back before they reached the open area with a picnic table. "So... where is he?" Valerie glanced all around. "I don't know. Let's just wait..." Chrissy walked further, looking around as Val stood there, looking around at the woods and noticed Chrissy staring at a tree. "Chris?" She walked over and gently touched her arm making her flinch and quickly turn around towards Valerie.

She turns to her quickly and Val furrows her brows in worry. Chrissy glanced over at the tree again so Val glanced up, seeing nothing wrong with it. "What is it? A squirrel? You scared of tiny little animals?" She whispers to Chrissy who just glanced at Val's face by hers. Fingers tap along Valerie's shoulder, "there's one right there!" It was Eddie and she quickly flinched, turning around and backing away, pulling Chrissy behind her. "Woah, chill out, Valerie." He chuckled and Val just sighed, scoffing.

"You're such a jerk." She said and reached out, hitting his arm. "Sorry." He says, walking over to the picnic table where the two girls sat down. He watched the two girls who are whispering discreetly to one another, setting down his black lunchbox and taking off his jacket.

"There's nothing to worry about. Nobody ever comes out here." He then sat down in front of them and the two cheerleaders looked up right away. "So, how does this work?" She asked, gesturing around at the box between her and Chrissy and Eddie. He opened up the box and put his hand to his face as Val stared at the open lunchbox full of drugs.

"Oh, just like any other old sale, except, uh, cash only, and uh, for obvious reasons, no receipts." Eddie looked between Val and Chrissy. The Smith glanced to the Cunningham again, and the blonde insisted, nodding as Valerie looks back at Eddie, sighing quietly. "I'll give you two a half ounce for, uh, 20... what do you say?" Eddie raised a baggy of weed.

"Plenty of bag for your buck. Should last a while." A noise in the wood frightens Chrissy who glanced over her shoulder and scooted closer to Val, grabbing her arm. "Hey, uh, we don't need to do this." Eddie said quickly, closing the lunchbox and scooting it in front of him. "Just give me the world and I'll walk away. It feels a bit weird anyway since that shrimp, Henderson looks up to you." Eddie pulls the box away and Valerie smiled widely at that.

"Dustin looks up to me?" She asked and Eddie glanced at her. "That kid worships the ground you walk on, Valerie." He says and Val smiles more softly, glancing away as Chrissy softly nudged Valerie who glanced at her then quickly looked over at Eddie. "Right, no, don't leave... uh, just..." Valerie sighed and looked at Chrissy who's staring up at her with those soft blue eyes before looking at Eddie again.

"I mean, this is a little crazy... doing a drug deal with Chrissy Cunningham and her right hand girl, Valerie Smith? The queens of Hawkins High..." Eddie says and Valerie scrunched up her face. She still had that stupid ass reputation? "You know this isn't the first time we all... hung out." Eddie said suddenly and the two girls just glanced at one another.

"You both don't remember?" Eddie asked and Valerie genuinely didn't, shaking her head. "Sorry." She and Chrissy apologize, "I'm sorry," the blonde to her side says. "That's okay." Eddie said and then slammed his hand to his chest, flinging backwards as both girls immediately sat up, watching the boy roll onto the ground then get up. "I wouldn't remember me either." Eddie got up and turned to them.
