Kate had been extremely preoccupied at the wrap party. Everyone had demanded her attention because that's how Kate was. When she entered a room she was the main focus. That was one of the many reasons why you had fallen for her over the entire 6 months of the film production. You and her had clicked easily and quickly the moment you had met one another in the costume design department. You had become extremely anxious in the days leading up to the final day of shooting because you knew it would be likely that you wouldn't see Kate for a long time if not ever again. You couldn't be mad though, she wasn't yours. Kate had never married or settled down, that wasn't what she was about. Even dating Leo wasn't what she wanted in the end. Kate just always explained it away as enjoying her independence and focusing on her loved ones and work. That didn't stop her from being a flirt. She did it without even realizing it. Your train of thought comes to a screeching halt as you watch Aaron, a guy in set production, lean down and kiss Kate. Kate pulls away laughing and puts her hand on his chest. Suddenly your heart feels like it's being squeezed so with tears in your eyes you guzzle your beer and bolt for an exit. It's hard to see from the tears burning and blurring your vision so of course you stumble a bit before falling against a wall and sliding down. You feel so stupid for feeling like this, yet you just couldn't help but cry. After a moment of sobbing alone quietly you hear footsteps come closer and stop.

"Hey, I couldn't help but notice you ran out of there alone and you looked upset. What's going on?" Kate sat down next to you but you dared not look up.

"I'm fine Kate just got overwhelmed." You sniff and wipe at your eyes.

"I'm great at picking up on lying. Yeah I've had a few drinks but I'm not drunk. You can talk to me love."

"It's stupid Kate. You wouldn't get it." You finally get the courage to look at her, which you quickly realize gave you away.

"I think I do get it, I'm not blind to your feelings for me." Kate sighed and took your hand. "I can't come out as Bisexual so it's a part of me that my contract demands I hide."

"Your contract? That's not fair Kate." You squeeze her hand. "But you're right. Maybe I did start to like you more than I should."

"I don't really do relationships or feelings. But I do want you to know that I like you too. You're funny and gorgeous. A total babe. And I would like to kiss you." She said as she stared into your eyes.

"Me? Are you sure?" Your mouth went dry but Kate's warm and soft lips pressed against yours, giving you moisture again as the kiss became more open mouthed and tongues caressed.

"Winslet!" Someone yelled from inside the party breaking their kiss.

"Shh it's fine." Kate brushed her lips against your jaw and kissed your neck.

"Winslet?" Someone opened the door but it was too dark to tell who it was. "Stop shagging in a dark hallway and come in here it's beer pong time!" They went back inside and closed the door leaving you and Kate alone again.

"I've been summoned." Kate murmured annoyedly
"Would you like to go back to my suite with me? I'm sure I could dip out in an hour or so."

"Really?" You try to not seem too overly excited.

"Mhm. We weren't done. If not that's alright, but I will still give you my suite number and you can do what you want with it."

"No I definitely wanna leave here with you." You stand and she kisses you again.

"Actually, do you wanna just go now? Yeah let's go now." Kate takes your hand and leads you to the elevator to go up to her suite and away from the party.
