Sasuke, as forced by her possessive husband was almost glued to her hospital bed for another full week.
Inspite of her irritability for this whole situation of forceful treatment, none for her pleas were considered. Naruto was uncharacteristically strict on her. He was all about, I don't know, but you have to stay on bed. Only permitted to leave her bed for piss and bath, nothing else.

Thankfully, at the beginning of second week of her hospital stay, her blood pressure and sugar level improved to a satisfactory level, but Tsunade already warned that her pregnancy still remains high risk. If things have started already, the issues may return later on if Sasuke neglects herself again.

But still, Sasuke is not getting that, if she is well now, why the old hag is not giving her a leave now. Nobody wants to stay in a sickening hospital room with an obnoxious blonde husband constantly sticking in her sore ass.

Umm, sorry, no I don't mean sex. Well, sex is prohibited, until Tsunade gives her thumbs up OK.
Naruto is not taking any further risk, so he used to form a clone and send it to manage the Hokage duties, while he himself remain behind for his beloved.

Well, Sasuke is not happy about that. And that was definitely not helping her crappy mood swings.
In case of Naruto, Tsunade already gave him an pamphlet about how to deal with a pregnant women. God, that really helped him. Whenever Sasuke got irritated and bickers to him, he will just ignore her. Yeah, that's definitely tough but he somehow managed to keep his mouth shut.

_______________

It was raining outside heavily as monsoon already arrived in Konoha. It was only dawn, but the darkest cloud were not allowing a single ray to penetrate and reach the earth.

As usual, Sasuke was sleeping peacefully on her hospital bed. Just like a log, totally unaware of the steadily approaching steps.

The shadowy figure took out a sharp kunai from his pouch and smirked. "Finally alone, huh Uchiha?"

Sasuke's calm even breaths were the only things which can tell for sure how deep in sleep she is.

"After this, rest all you want, just like how you put my father to sleep".

The figure raised his hand holding kunai straight directed to evenly moving chest.
But before the figure could lower his arms in full force, he felt the coldness of a metal on his neck from the back.

A husky aggressive voice, a voice like of a beast growled,
" Did you really thought of me as an idiot or what? Throw away the kunai, right Now. Or i will just behead you right now without any mercy".

The shaded figure's hand holding the kunai shivered on that tone. Heck, it was scary as hell. His whole body shivered on another growl,
"Now".

With this the metal fell on the tiled surface with clattering sound.

" Good, now step back. If you turn behind, you are gone that second".

The shady figure stepped back. One step, two step.... Until they were out of the room and the door shut on his face. All that time feeling the cold metal on his neck.

"W-who A-are you?", the prey asked terrified.

" Shouldn't I ask you the same?
State, why attacking her? And don't lie, Mr Anbu chief".

The Anbu chief shivered. This person really know who he is even with the black mask he is wearing.

The chief looked down in defeat as his hands fell down to his sides.
Few tear drops escaped from his eyes which were shaded by his brown hair.
He felt the cold metal pressed on his neck with a little more force.
