The other teams were also ambushed suddenly by the enemy troops. It was good that they got the signal from Sasuke just a moment ago from the attack. They have already in a fighting stance beforehand.

So an ambush?......... may be not.

But what only made Neji, Sai, Choji and few other team member tensed is the fact that Sasuke is alone and the signal have come from her side. Everyone already knows how she hates taking help from others. She will give priority to solve the issue herself first.

But the fact is that signal. It means she is in deep shit and the team have to somehow wrap around their work and rush to help her.

Neji pulled up his 64 palms trigrams rotation to instantaneously make a breakthrough from the swarms of enemies surrounding his team members. But still, some of them persistent enough to make Neji pissed off. They somehow survived that lethal attack.

'Tsk, just what are they. Ninja with blood and bones should be crushed in that swing'. Neji thought irritatedly.

So, he and his other team members who were still good enough to continue fight took on the taijutsu style to wrap up fast.

This time blocking chakra points took an advantage against the enemies. Within ten minutes Neji and his team have knocked down remaining enemies. No wonder, they were well trained as assassins. Neji covered up his comparatively bigger wounds on his now bruised body before ordering his team to keep an eye of the tied up probably unconscious enemies.

The Hyuuga boy ran down the valley for aiding the Uchiha. Before he could cross the brook, he saw Sai rushing towards the same direction as he was.

"Hey Sai! Where is Choji?", Neji asked loud enough for the raven haired boy to hear.

" I don't know, I guess he also got stuck up in that ambush", Sai replied in a hurry.

"You were too?"

Sai nodded as yes.

Before Sai could pick up speed Neji stopped him.

"You go to aid Choji, I will handle here".

" But Sasuke...... Tch, fine. I am counting on you". Sai finally agreed along with Neji's plan and took of on the direction where he knew he could find Choji and his team.

With this Neji now crossed the little brook before running downhills.

That's completely strange, what was Sasuke doing here, far away from her assigned spot. Neji couldn't wrap around the fact exactly. Was it some sort on errands for the old blacksmith's couple? Or was it some sort of trap?

Neji was leaping from one tree to another as a shiny metal made him look down on the darkened forest floor. He jumped down and took a good look on the object.

That was a transmitter. A fake one though. There was no doubt that it was of Sasuke's. Is she taken hostage or something? Neji soon activated his byakugan taking a good look on the surroundings.

But when he saw a magnificiant thunder bolt rushing down directly from heavens to kiss the earth, he smiled and deactivated his byakugan. There no point, he got her location now. He rushed downhills towards the direction of the blast.

He entered that partially burning area. The flora was burning in flames and a old tree split up neatly from middle, its two parts lying dead on two opposite side.
Almost thirty masked ninjas lying knocked down on ground here and there. And in midst of the destruction stood Sasuke with her sword in hand, onyx eyes dripping blood, multiple large and small bruise, cuts scarred her pale skin, panting heavily as sweat dripped down from her forehead mixing up with the blood down to her chin.
