Eddie sat beside me, facing me instead of the front of the class. I smiled noticing him. "We have to do something so we have something to celebrate," He commented making me laugh. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "Come on, your mum wants to," He explained but I chuckled.
"She was probably just looking for an excuse for you to stay over," I clarified but he shook his head with a smile.
"We don't need an excuse," He shrugged. I laughed.
"You might as well have a draw in my room," I joked, putting on a girly voice but he grinned wider.
"Sounds good, we'll clear one out tonight," He winked. I rolled my eyes but my God! I was ready to slip off my chair. How does he affect me so much?! I studied him wondering if he knew exactly what he does to me. His smirk told me he had an inkling. I rolled my eyes again taking a deep breath. "It was your idea," He added. I laughed knowing he was most definitely going to tip one of my draws out tonight. Oh, God. I have to get to my draws first, I don't want him looking in my underwear drawer or worse yet... my bottom drawer. I gulped at the thought. The teacher walked in grabbing everyone's attention to start their lesson. She handed out sketchbooks and pencils. We were to create our whole book about anatomy. Eddie smirked at me and raised an eyebrow at this. I chuckled and shook my head. The teacher wanted us to do our first sketch on someone's hand, Something many struggles with drawing. She instructed us to get in pairs to draw the other person's hand as she explained that we see our hands every day and would try and draw them from memory. Before she even finished saying it, Eddie squeaked his chair along the floor to face my chair and put it as close to mine as he could. We all laughed as Eddie smiled at me triumphantly seemingly ignoring everyone else in the room. I blushed as I kept looking back at the teacher.
"Thank you, Eddie," The teacher commented with a chuckle. She played some music quietly while we worked.
I sighed turning my chair to face Eddie's making him grin widely. We rested our left hands on the table. I put my palm facing upwards and folded my fingers comfortable so I wouldn't move my hands.
"Is that good?" I asked looking down at my hand.
"It's perfect," Eddie replied breathlessly. I looked up at him to see he was just staring at me. I rolled my eyes with a chuckle. He seemed to snap out of it, he placed his hand on the table but moved it around awkwardly. I laughed before grabbing his hand. He held his breath, I pretended not to notice but I couldn't hide my smile. I moved his hand so it was resting face down on the table. I moved his fingers leaving them slightly bent but relaxed.
"Is that comfortable?" I asked with a smile, he smiled back as he nodded. I grinned before putting my hand back to its previous position and started a base sketch of his hand.
"Do you want me to take my rings off?" He asked but I shook my head.
"I like them," I shrugged and he seemed to smile widely, probably thinking I wouldn't notice because I was looking at his hand. I drew the general shape of the bones before starting on the fingers. I bit my lip admiring his hand, how the veins seemed prominent flowing to his middle finger. I hadn't realised I was in a world of my own until Eddie spoke.
"You okay?" He chuckled. I nodded, clearing my throat. I had imagined his hand on the side of my face again. His thumb against my bottom lip. His hand slowly explored my skin, his fingers trailing down the sides of my waist. His fingers danced on my collar bones and lightly gripped my neck. I have never had sexual thoughts before but my breathing was quicker and I felt hotter. Eddie chuckled looking confused. I gulped realising my mouth was dry. "You're acting weird," He noted. I looked at him, at first slightly panicked. He looked at me confused but as soon as he watched me lick my lips he looked at me seriously. He figured it out. His eyes seemed to smile as he looked between my eyes and my lips. His eyebrows twitched slightly before he smiled. "You were thinking of more than kissing me," He whispered. I chuckled, shaking myself out of it. I didn't deny it, a part of me felt scandalous. Eddie noticed as he looked hopeful, a wide smile spread across his lips. I smiled back but dragged my eyes away to look back at his hand. "I can't wait till break," He cheered making me laugh. I hope he doesn't get the wrong idea. We sat in silence as we sketched. He couldn't bear the silence for long. "So, what were you thinking about?" He asked making me laugh. I shook my head, a way of telling him that I was keeping it private. He groaned, unhappy with my answer. "At least tell me if it was over or under clothes," He tried but I gasped. He laughed.
"Eddie," I urged but he grinned.
"What I'm curious," He shrugged but smirked at me. "Seems you are too," He added, I rolled my eyes wishing he hadn't noticed me in the first place.
"Can we just focus on sketching?" I asked but he bit his lip.
"I can, if you can," He winked at me again. My breath hitched and he seemed to notice my chest had stopped rising and falling. He smirked. I decided to ignore him and focus on sketching his hand. I kept catching myself zoning out but shook it off and continued drawing. Eddie seemed to notice and chuckle every time. I rolled my eyes for probably the 17th time. I need to focus! Why did this lesson have to be about hands?! Why am I going crazy over his hands?! Everyone has hands, what makes his so special?... Well, they're attached to him.
