"Hey Nancy, I'm so sorry about what happened, I was stupid at the time- and," Johnathan continued in his annoying tone.

Nancy's face fell, seeing Johnathan was the last thing she wanted to see. "Hey, last time I checked, you cheated, so back off bud." Robin viciously spoke, putting her arm around Nancy. Nancy leaned her head near Robin's shoulder, not wanting to make eye contact with Johnathan.

"I didn't ask you, Buckley." Johnathan glared at her. Robin shook her head at Johnathan as she started to walk past him with Nancy.

"Thank you." Nancy softly said, looking to the ground. Robin took her arm away from her, putting her hand on Nancy's chin tilting her head up.

"No need to be so sad, I'm here for you." Robin genuinely responded. Nancy fumbled a smile, opening her mouth to say something.

The bell started to ring, indicating first period. "Oh, shit, I have to go." Nancy took Robin's hand off of her chin and raced to put her backpack in her locker. I guess I should do the same. Robin thought to herself.
