Robin woke up, her head ached. "Nancy?" Robin asked, hoping Nancy would answer, instead, Robin found Nancy's arms wrapped around her, hugging her like a teddy bear.

Robin couldn't help but feel butterflies, Nancy felt so comfortable with her that she could finally rest instead of managing herself all the time.

She didn't know what to do, it was either, wake Nancy up out of her slumber, or, stay and wait until she woke up. But at the second ideas rate, it would take all day and they would've missed school.

"Nancy?" Robin softly said, gently tapping her back. Nancy wouldn't budge, instead, she hugged Robin tighter as to never let go.

Robin felt herself burn up. "Nancy, wake up!" Robin whispered in her ear.

Nancy slowly shifted her eyes open, she quickly pulled away. "I'm so sorry!" Nancy awkwardly said, sitting up.

Robin looked at Nancy, her eyes practically hearts. "You're gorgeous even without makeup." Robin whispered under her breath.

Nancy raised a brow, "Pardon, I couldn't hear what you said." Nancy rubbed her eyes.

Robin pestered her eyes around Nancy's room awkwardly. "I said we're going to be late for school!" Robin nervously laughed, biting her lip.

Nancy looked at her clock. "Oh, I didn't notice that." Nancy quietly replied. "I'll drive you home so you can change, just wait outside in my living room." Nancy yawned.

When Nancy came down the stairs, she was surprised. Robin was sitting on the floor with Mike Wheeler, playing video games with him. Mike watched in awe as she beat a level of Mario. "I practiced at Steve's house a lot, he has one of these." Robin laughed, putting the Nintendo Entertainment System controller down.

"Can you please teach me how to beat that level?" Mike pleaded to Robin.

Robin laughed, then seeing that Nancy was ready, "I've got to go now." Robin pointed at Nancy.

Mike put his hands in his head, "But you haven't taught me any tricks!" Mike eagerly said as Nancy and Robin walked out the door.

"You're a child whisperer." Nancy tilted her head to the side, smiling at Robin.

Robin put her hand on her neck, "Well it's just that I've played the nes since Steve has one, I'm not that good." Robin laughed. She looked over at Nancy.

Nancy playfully nudged her, "Well Mike has been stuck on a level for like- a month!" Nancy replied, "And you just saved him another month." Robin felt her heart flutter by Nancy's words. She laughed nervously as they both got into the car.

Nancy started the car's engine, backing out of her driveway. Robin laid her head back, still thinking of the moment Nancy didn't want to let go of her.

"Robin, you okay?" Nancy asked, turning down a street. Robin looked back at Nancy, her face going pink.

"Yeah- mhm." Robin laughed, too nervous to mention how Nancy was hugging her.

Nancy on the other hand felt so warm when she was hugging Robin, she didn't want to let go, she didn't want to tell Robin that wasn't her asleep self that didn't want to let go.

The car ride was silent until they arrived at Robin's house. "Is your mom home?" Nancy asked her. Robin shook her head.

Nancy waited in her car while Robin was inside her house. She eagerly tapped on the steering wheel.

A couple minutes later, Robin opened the door, locking it with her house keys. Robin was wearing a normal outfit, jeans, red converse, her sweater, and a tucked in red shirt.

Robin sat back in the passengers seat, not prepared for another day of Hawkins.
