Both girls sat in the car, Robin's hand hanging out the window while she laid her head on the frame of the window.

"How about you stay the night at mine, since I owe you for last night." Nancy asked, her face burning up.

"Sure." Robin smiled

For the rest of the ride, while Robin rested her chin at the open car window, Nancy took quick glances at Robin, each time wishing she would stare back.

"Robin- you good?" Nancy asked, worried.

"No I'm dead." Robin tiredly mumbled, she put her head on the head of the car seat and stuck her tongue out, playing dead. Nancy couldn't help but giggle and blush at the same time.

  Robin opened one eye, looking over at Nancy, who was focused on the road. "Wow, you're all red, is it really that hot in her?" Robin questioned, tugging at the collar of her own shirt. Nancy stared back at Robin at a red light, she could feel the same tingling she felt every time Johnathan looked at her.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Nancy nervously replied, turning into the driveway of her house.

"Wow, I can't recall the last time I was here." Robin tilted her head and smiled at Nancy.

"Just- act normal to my Mom or she'll think we're doing weird shit." Nancy gestured for Robin to get out of the car.

"Yes ma'am." Robin whispered while they made their way up to the door.

"Mom, meet Robin, Robin, meet my Mom." Nancy politely spoke.

"Why hello there." Nancy's Mom spoke in the same tone as Nancy did.

"Hello, Nancy's Mom." Robin grinned at her.

"So you're the Robin Nancy always talks about!" Nancy's Mom happily said.

"Mom." Nancy whispered at her, turning a bit pink.

"Is it okay if Robin stays the night?" Nancy asked awkwardly.

"Sure." Nancy's Mom replied. Nancy's Mom leaned near Nancy, "Where'd you find this girl?" Nancy's Mom winked.

Nancy turned a whole other shade of pink. "Come on, Robin." She tugged her by the hand and led her upstairs.

~~~~~~~
Nancy collapsed onto her bed, tired. "I'm so tired." Her voice muffled.
"Yeah, me too." Robin agreed. "But where am I going to sleep?" She questioned.
Nancy immediately got up. "Well- I didn't really think about that." Nancy nervously answered. "Maybe, with me?" Nancy awkwardly muttered.
Robin's face went a tint of pink. She fiddled with her hands, "Do you have any sleeping bags- or I could sleep on the floor?" Robin nervously laughed.
"Robin." Nancy made her classic look at her, she patted the spot next to her.
Robin sat next to Nancy for a while, in silence. "I'd never think I'd have someone like you." Nancy smiled at Robin, touching her hand. Robin held her hand, blushing.
"Same with me, my whole Hawkins school life I've been just wheeling with Steve." Robin sarcastically replied.
"He even asked me out one time." Robin chuckled.
"Did you say yes?" Nancy eagerly asked, she then covered her mouth and looked away, embarrassed.
Robin put her hand on Nancy's shoulder. "of course not, he's just too stupid for me." Nancy smiled at the thought of that. "It's just his ego's too big, and don't get me started on his hair." Nancy started to erupt in laughter.
The two of them shared eye contact, this time, to Nancy it felt as clear as day that Robin was feeling something too. "I have to use the bathroom, where is it?" Robin nervously laughed.
"Down the hall and to the left." Nancy sarcastically grinned.
Robin stared at her reflection after she finished washing her hands. She ran her hands through her hair.
"Does Nancy Wheeler love me?" Robin whispered to herself. "No, it's just that I like her." Robin sighed.
