Steve, Eddie, Robin, and Nancy stood outside the shelter, Nancy holding the clothes Robin and her pitched to donate.

"This is where we're volunteering?" Eddie asked, disappointed.

"Mhm." Nancy hummed, gazing at Eddie, annoyed by his voice.

"This looks like a sweatshop." Eddie stared at the place, sharing a look with Steve.

"Thank you for the donations." The lady that greeted them said while Nancy handed her the clothes.

"You guys here to volunteer?" She asked all four of them, to which they either grunted in response or nodded.

"Great!" The lady enthusiastically said, directing Nancy and Robin to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and for Eddie and Steve to fold and organize clothes.

~~~~~~~~~
Nancy and Robin starting making sandwiches, while subtlety cracking jokes.
"I found another jar of peanutbutter and it's crunchy!-" a voice announced, it sounded familiar to Robin.
Robin looked behind her back quickly, it was Vickie, one of her first crushes besides Tammy Thompson.
"Robin." Vickie said.
"H-Hi." Robin awkwardly said.
Nancy looked at Robin, then the girl.
"What are you doing here?" Vickie asked her, surprised, she was half ignoring Nancy.
"I am.. I- I am making PB and J's."
"Right- yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, I'm also making Pb and J's." Vickie nervously said.
"Cool." Robin nodded.
Vickie walked over to Robin's right side, Nancy stood on the left, keeping her eye on her. She didn't like how nervous Robin was around this girl.
"Hey uh- I'm sorry if it came off rude, I didn't mean it like that." Vickie looked Robin in the eyes.
Nancy listened to the both of them, though it mostly were the girl apologizing. Finally, silence broke in.
"Vickie, this is Nancy, Nancy, Vickie." Robin introduced them to each other.
Vickie smiled at her. "Is she your cousin?" Vickie asked, Robin immediately bulged her eyes, laughing.
"She's my girlfriend." Nancy abruptly said, narrowing her eyes.
"Oh, sorry." Vickie's face immediately fell, she wasn't sad that she accidentally called them cousins, she was sad because she liked robin.
