From a time still inside our chrysalis
We once excitedly spoken of dreams
Of colorful and peaceful tomorrows
Of our innocent desires of successWhen we then became butterflies
Each with a beautiful pair of wings
And with a mind full of curiosities
We freely flutter in the meadowsFrom flower to flower came discoveries
And from discoveries came changes
Our dreams was then carried by the winds
Floating like a lost kite in the endless skiesWe flew like geese chasing its strings
But we were faced with many conundrums
One by one we dropped like missiles
Diving in a landmass of black and whitesWhat once a life full of enthusiasms
And a painted canvas of imaginations
We lay with torn wings watching our kites
Wishing we are still in our chrysalis.07.02.22
