I answered the phone, "hey lil sis." He said making me freeze up for a slight second, Jay rubbed my stomach and mouthed, 'it's okay.'
"Hey Jacarion, how are you?" I asked hearin him sigh, "Bri why you ain't tell me you was pregnant?" He asked
"Well first off you were the one not talking to me, second of all you wouldn't give me the mf time of day. So yeah telling you was gonna be wayyy later." I said as I heard him sigh
"I know and I'm sorry for overreacting that day-"
"No Jacarion you're not sorry,cause if you we're 'sorry' you would have still been there for me, you turned your shoulder when I needed you the most, not once when I was in the mental facility did you come to check on me nor see me. My brother who I thought would have my fucking back treated me like everybody else did. And that shit...it hurt me bad JJ it hurt."
Jay kissed my neck comforting me rubbing my stomach.
"Bri I know and I wanna make it right to you..I'm gonna show up at your baby shower on Saturday with the gang." He said
"I need actions not words Jacarion." I said sighing
"You sound just like momma.." he said making me chuckle
"I was always momma's twin sooo" I said making him laugh
"You shole was, Dooka was dad's twin." He said sighing
"I miss us talking JJ...I miss you and Dooka..I miss the whole gang..so thank you for calling.."
"No problem bri."
"Now I gotta go so bye bye JJ take care na." I said hanging up
I let out a huge sigh rubbing my face, "see wasn't that bad was it?" Jay said making me roll my eyes, "nooo."
"We needa go shopping for baby shower outfits today. This shit is literally in two days. I'm gonna book a place downtown for Saturday." I said looking at my phone
Jamar nodded kissing me one last time before getting up, "well let's head out den." He said sliding on his shoes helping me put on mines.
