disclaimer:just wanted to let everybody know that in the book, i made robin autistic. i mean, it's a headcannon of mine. idk if everyone else has that headcannon as well, but yeah. :) also, making billy a good guy in this :)

It's been a month since school started, and i really don't want to go again. i hate it. i hate my teachers. i hate the people. the only reason that keeps me going are eddie and steve..and, well..you know. and today was a special day to me.

i got dressed, putting on a black tank top, with a white and black button up over it. then i put black jeans on with my red and white converse. i brushed my hair and smiled at myself, looking in the mirror. oh who am i kidding? even my smile looks fake.

i went downstairs to see my mom cooking. "is that smell what i think it is?" i smiled. "there's the birthday girl," my mom smiled, "and yes, i'm cooking your favorite. blueberry pancakes with banana bread and whip cream" she nodded, "they're almost done."

"i have to be im at school in thirty minutes" i said. "it's okay," the bell rang for the bread and mom grabbed the bread out of the oven, placing it down on the counter, "like i said, they were almost done" her mom winked. "they smell amazing, mom" i smiled as she served us both plates. we sat down and i looked up at her, "hey, so..you know how it's my birthday?" i asked and she nodded, "well, i was wondering, since we've never really had anything big..if i can spend it with steve and eddie? i promise, there won't be any drinking and drugs. we're probably just going to watch a movie and play a few games" i said, i was nervous since i know how much my mom loves spending my birthday with me.

"of course, sweetie. is it a sleepover or..?" she asked. "i mean, if that's alright with you?" i nodded. "go ahead, i actually got called in for tonight anyways" my mom was a nurse. after my father had passed..she took the career in being a nurse.

"great, thank you mom" i smiled as i finished my food. i stood up, "i have to go, steve's probably already here. i'll see you tomorrow mom" i smiled as i walked out and i was right, steve was waiting outside, leaning against his car as he had a cigarette in his hand. "hey, birthday girl" he smiled. "dingus" i smiled as i looked in the front, "eds, it's my birthday. why don't you be a gentleman and let me sit in the front?" i smiled and eddie nodded before getting our, "anything for you, buckley" he smiled, holding the door open. steve threw his cigarette on the ground, stepping on it before we all got in.

"so, what are our plans?" steve asked as he started driving. "well, i told my mom that we were going to your place, i told her that we won't be drinking. probably watch movies and play some games. but, i was actually thinking that we could go to skull rock, get fucked up tonight. invite your girlfriend, in fact, invite all of your little nerdy friends" i said.

"deal" steve smirked.

i'm science class, i wasn't really paying attention. my head leaning against my hand as i tapped my fingers onto the table. my eyes were wondering. until they landed on steve's girlfriend, nancy wheeler. the prettiest girl at hawkins high. well, in my eyes she was.

"robin" i heard my name get called and i looked up, "yes, sir?" i responded. "please tell us our project for this month" mr. creel crossed his arms. i gulped, "uh.."

"we're doing a project on computers, sir. how they work, what you can do on them, all of that stuff" i looked over, and there she was. nancy was saving my ass. "thank you, ms. wheeler. next time, you better answer yourself or there will be consequences" mr. creel said. "sorry, sir" i nodded. can he blame me though?

"alright, i already chose your partners. steve h. and eddie m., jason v. and angela b.," he read off the names and then i heard my name get called up, "robin b. and nancy w."

later that day, steve was as just telling me who was all coming. "okay, so there's gonna be us three. with nancy, dustin, lucas, max, will, mike, jane, billy, and jonathan. some of nancy's friends as well" he explained, "i think eddie's bringing the stuff" he said. "yeah, i got everything in my bag back at my trailer if you wanna stop by there first" eddie said. "deal" steve nodded and started driving to eddie's house. "hey, how come steve's been here but i haven't?" i asked.

"you've never asked" eddie said. "well, maybe you should start inviting" i joked as we got to his house.

sorry it's kinda short. i'm gonna try to write longer chapters, i just have a few days left of summer school and then i'll be free for abt three weeks. since school starts in like three or four weeks🙄 anyways, i hope everyone enjoyed the first chapter.
