I'm currently at the after party of the MET gala trying my best not to cry as both of us stare at eachother across the room

Taylor then starts to approach me

I then remember the pain I went through for the past year

Flashback

This is what happened for the

February 24th 2015

The first few weeks after Taylor broke up with me I've trying to text, call her I did get a meeting with her team under the excuse of legal problems but it suddenly got cancelled probably because Taylor heard of me

I'm currently in my office It's been 4 months since Taylor broke up with me I've been trying to burry myself into my work just to forget about her and so far it's barely working but at least I got promoted to junior partner because of the amount of work I've been doing for the 4 months

As I stare at my view in my new office
Someone knocks I look at the door it's my assistant

'Mr Y/L/N your father is calling for at his office' your assistant said

That got me confused because my father rarely calls me into his office

I get out of my chair and walk out of my office and i say to my assistant 'will that be all Nathan' I asked

Nathan nodded I nodded and went into my father's office I see him talking on the phone he sees me and signals me into a chair

I sit in the chair as I waited for him to finish the call

'Don't worry I'll take care of it....he puts down the phone and looks at me.... first of congratulations on the promotion you deserved it my boy and now let's get straight to business then'

Your father is always like that in every work talk always straight to business

'i'm sure you already know know this because of the amount of rumors going around the office anyways both your brother and sister are planning on starting their own firms they got tired waiting for me to step down' he said disappointed at the last part

'Oh I see but father why did you call me here I'm not joining either one of them' I questioned with a hint of confusion

'Because the firm has a large share in each of there firms' my father said

'Ok you want me to what supervise them... chuckle' I joked

'Yes' Father says with a serious tone

'huh' I just make a sound dumfounded

'Yes both of them in my opinion need some help at the begining and besides it's a great opportunity to get a few contacts'

'Ok I don't know if I'll agree but where are they starting it' I question with hesitation

'Your brother to New York and your sister to Los Angeles'
