Staring at his reflection in the mirror, the redhead quietly tidied his appearance more, combing his long silky hair in a low ponytail as he wore his highschool uniform.

The uniform was white in color. Modest with some silver and golden linings around the sleeves and the hem of the shirt, the neat embroidery that decorated the chest area enhanced the elegant point of the outfit.

Making sure he looked decent enough, he grabbed his backpack and student's ID before hurriedly heading to his highschool.

"Haaaa.. I'll arrive late. I wonder if that will lower my image in Alver's eyes.."

Sighing softly as he was caught in the middle of the crowd, this young redhead mumbled under his breath, smiling softly as he uttered the name 'Alver'.

"Cale!"

Hearing his name being called, the redhead, Cale Henituse, was pulled from his thoughts and turned around to be met with a bright, angelic smile.

'So bright.'

Cale chuckled softly at that thought, before smiling at the black haired teenager who called him.

"Good morning, Han-ah."

"Morning, Cale!"

The black haired teenager, Choi Han, immediately caught up with Cale and walked side by side with him.

Walking together and chatting happily; an enthusiastic teenager and calm one; they looked harmonious next to each other. People couldn't help but glance at them several times. Some even commented on how youth was the best time of life.

"You're a bit late today. Did something happen?" Choi Han asked with a hint of worry as he checked Cale's body for anything strange.

Cale laughed lightly and patted his hand to assure him, and said, "Don't worry, Han-ah. I just overslept today as I was trying to complete the physics' project."

"Ah. I see."

A relieved grin made its way to Choi Han's lips before a iglint of playfulness shone in his black irises as he approached Cale and picked him up on his shoulder.

"We should move faster or else we'll be late!"

"W-Woah!! Choi Han-!"

Choi Han laughed cheerfully and ran towards the school with Cale clinging onto his shoulder. Gradually, Cale's terrified face changed to one of excitement and joy as the wind ran through his hair, making his red locks flutter around.

Cale giggled softly while holding onto Choi Han's shoulder, his gaze softening while listening to the cheerful laughter of his childhood friend.

Soon, the two friends arrived at the school, with Choi Han carefully putting Cale down as if he was the most priceless treasure in a museum.

"And we're here! We arrived on time."

Choi Han proudly told Cale while pointing at the huge clock tower next to the school, which elicited a gentle pat on the head from the redhead who thanked him with a bright smile.

"Thank you, Han-ah. Now I won't have to worry about the possibility of Alver's opinion of me changing upon discovering that I arrived late to school."

Cale didn't notice, but Choi Han's smile twitched a little upon hearing the name 'Alver'. However, he immediately covered it up as if nothing happened while responding softly,

"I'm sure Alver won't really mind you being late. You know he's always busy so.. I don't really think he would notice."

This time, Cale smiled bitterly and ruffled Choi Han's hair playfully.
