".....Han-ah.."

He tried to shake Choi Han's shoulders.

"..Please.."

He tried to pinch Choi Han's cheek.

"Wake up..."

He held Choi Han's hands in his own and wept bitterly. Cale didn't have any choice but to accept the reality.

Choi Han was dead, and he died for him. To make him happy, to get an amaryllis for him and let him be with the person he loves.

"I'm sorry... I swear I'm sorry... Please... Han-ah.."

'Just wake up. Tell me this is a dream.'

"This can't... Happen.. It's not real.."

'Tell me this is just a nightmare....'

He reached with a trembling hand to the amaryllis and carefully pulled it from Choi Han's chest. He then put it with the note on the side as he hugged Choi Han's body tightly, crying to his shoulder while sobbing loudly.

He wanted all of this to be a nightmare, he didn't want it to be real. He just wants Choi Han to wake up, to tell him that this all was nothing, that he's still alive and breathing...

From the age of 6, Cale and Choi Han were inseparable. Choi Han always stayed with Cale, taking care of Cale, who despite how smart he was he was also quite clumsy, and protecting him from any danger.

Cale was used to Choi Han's presence, and he was aware that without Choi Han he won't be able to maintain his current life anymore.

However, Cale could only swallow the bitter feeling that was filling his heart as he looked at the note again through his blurry vision.

The only thing Choi Han was asking from him was his happiness.

Choi Han only wanted him to be happy, nothing more.

That's why, despite his tears not stopping at all, he still held the amaryllis dearly to his chest.

"My happiness...."

'How foolish of you, Choi Han...

........How can I be happy without you?'

He shook again, thinking of how hard what Choi Han asked him to have. Happiness without Choi Han was just a mere illusion; he knew that.

However, for Choi Han, he needed to try. To at least fulfill his last wish.

He took a deep breath, then held the amaryllis dearly to his chest. He must be happy, for Choi Han at least.

His tears didn't stop. However, he needed to go and hand this amaryllis to Alver. With that, he would be able to be together with the person he loves, and they would live happily ever after.

Alver would never lie to him after all.

He tried to steady his steps as he carefully covered Choi Han's body, planning to come to take care of this matter after meeting Alver.

He felt his steps getting heavier along with the amaryllis in his hand....

The love he wanted was so heavy, he almost suffocated at the spot.

Cale fiddled with his shirt as he stood in front of Alver's apartment and rang the doorbell. His eyes were puffy and red as some tears were still hanging from his eyelashes.
