-KRAKOOM!

Rain poured down, uneasing, as if mourning.

Pitter, patter

A blond man stood stock still in front of two gravestones that were side by side.

He stood still, as if his feet were cemented upon the grass.

–KRAKANG!

He stayed, still staring at the lump of dirt even as the others left one by one. He stared especially at the amaryllis that were in between the two graves.

Pitter, patter

"You fools..."

A baritone voice floated out, filled with distaste.

"Why did you have to go too far..."

A voice filled with loathing, directed upon the cold cold soil.

It was nearly drowned out by the wild rain.

Alver Crossman stood in front of the graves of two idiots. He stood still, even when the rain refused to cease.

"I only wanted you to go away."

He just wanted to play a little game. Everyone said that Cale Henituse would be impossible to get as he was completely cold towards love. Cale always refused and his best friend, Choi Han, also protected him very well.

Alver just wanted to challenge this.

But when Cale really fell for him, he also held some fondness for the redhead. That's why he didn't want to break Cale's heart brutally and told him that he would be with him if Cale was able to get an amaryllis.

He couldn't help it as Cale was excellent in everything and just almost perfect. However, the red-haired young man was still lacking some social awareness which made him easy to fool.

He was absolutely adorable with that little obliviousness despite how he would easily deal with the people around him.

Alver still remembered how he appeared in front of Cale....

'They're taking too long.'

Alver complained in his head as he waited for some people to come here. He was waiting near the alleyway and making sure no one would be able to see him.

He just rented some random thugs to try and 'scare' the famous Cale Henituse, and then appear in front of him and protect him.

He calculated pretty well, and he even made sure that Cale's best friend, Choi Han, wouldn't be around at that time.

'Nothing should go wrong.', he repeated in his head.

However, things indeed went extremely wrong without him expecting it.

Alver did not expect the idiots to bring some kids into this matter. And he absolutely did not expect the children to be less than 10 years old–

'What the fuck is wrong with these punks' heads?!'

He screamed internally as he immediately rushed to help the kids and Cale. He cursed himself for choosing this wrong approach as he beat the thugs up and turned to Cale.

He expected Cale to be staring at him in awe, maybe shaking a bit while acting pitifully, however–

Cale didn't even glance at him, he just looked at the three little kids worriedly and started to treat their wounds with a first-aid-kit that he pulled from seemingly nowhere.
