Soundtrack of the chapter: Indigo Night by Tamino

Last night was by far the best night I have ever experienced. I didn't want it to end. I had never been more alive. After the concert, we went to this local bar by the busy boulevard. We danced and sang some more. Leah and I couldn't stop touching each other. Her fingers danced through my hair, as mine pressed around her waist. Our eyes kept drifting back, meeting in the middle of the crowded bar, then as we walked to the minivan, and then through the rear-view mirror.

We reached the villa around 4 am, silence engulfed the house. The cars of our host, and the rest of the company were nowhere to be seen. We dragged our feet through the stairs, Farah still singing the song from the concert, as Cole carried her to her room. He was sober as he was our designated driver.

"Are you going to stay at Farah's room?" I asked Leah.

We were standing in front of my room, my eyes watching her as hers were trailing my face, as if she was in the process of learning my features by heart. She exhaled slowly, as her eyes were now looking through mine.

"I want to stay in your room." She whispered, resting her hand on my chest. I was confident that she could feel my heart trying to escape me, racing his way towards her.

"Then, come with me."

Over Leah's head I could see Cole retreating to his room after he tucked in Farah. The moment he closed his door, I grabbed Leah by the hand and pulled her into my room.

The moment I closed the door, the room fell into darkness. The only light was coming through the opened French door. The ocean's breeze filtered through, playing with the light silky curtains.

I turned around to look at Leah. She was standing by the door, her eyes on me. She took slow steps toward me. The distance between us is now obsolete. She put her hands on my chest then moved them to my shoulder. Finally, her fingers were on my face, tracing my jawline.

"Truth." She whispered

I inched closer to her and placed my hands on the sides of her waist. My fingers moved slowly under her tank top, pressing into her skin. She moved closer to me, our lips almost touching.

"Kiss you." I whispered back.

As I finished my confession, Leah crashed her lips on mine and I felt the world inside me experience another big bang. My heart was beating so fast, I thought it would explode. Her lips were soft and tasted like warm whiskey. My fingers moved up to trace the line under her bra and Leah exhaled into my lips. She deepened the kiss, her fingers are threading my hair at the nap of my neck. I nibbled her lower lip and slowly pushed my tongue to embrace hers in a heated moment. It felt like we were both dancing tango.

We started walking backward to my bed. The moment my back hit the mattress, Leah fell over me, her legs rested on the sides of my thighs and her chest was flushing against me. Our lips were still intertwined, the vanilla she wore was deep into my senses. Her hands moved under my T-shirt and I groaned into her lips as she dug her nails into my skin.
