Tokyo Shopping Center

"Miu. I think I need to be tighter in securing you", Kai looked around. His dear daughter is wearing a dress he brought from an antique store in Europe and it perfectly captures the Victorian era. "You're the one I should be worried about", Miu had a nervous smile looking at a passerby taking a photo of him. "You can lose the disguise. Everyone can tell that you're the one in the milk advertisement", Miu gently removed his sunglasses and muffler.

"I think I really have to change my clothes. It's a little warm today", Miu pressed her lips together. "Sure. I heard there's a lot of trendy clothes in Tokyo shopping center right now", Kai felt the drive to drag her daughter around and see how many changes happened in the course of three years. They've walked quite long having to tell stories about Washijo and Terano's odd partnership. The old lady's warm and welcoming presence pacifies Washijo's tyrannic attitude. "Coach was still the same. He loves height and power", Kai chuckled as Miu showed a photo of Shiratorizawa's current lineup. For some reason, Kai had been feeling angsty from the moment they walked from the station to the shopping center.

"Why are you following us?", Kai turned to a white head lad with black highlights. "Will there be any camera around?", Bokuto said in excitement. "Camera? I'm not on a roll. I'm on a day off right now", Kai checked his phone to confirm. "Is she going to be the princess? What kind of advertisement will you do now? Will it involve dragons and swords?", Bokuto's eyes shone. "I don't do ads like that though", Kai sweat dropped. "It's Fukurodani's ace", Miu clasped her hands together. "Oh, he's someone you know", the man looked at Miu's frightened expression. He finally took a better glance at the lad and realized he was in his high school uniform. "How come you're with that wild look and yet you're still a high schooler?", Kai was surprised that the school system changed for just a course of short period.

"Bokuto-san. We have to catch the next bus. We'll be having a practice game with Namimori", Akaashi continued his babysitting. After they left the train station, he checked his phone for the time. The setter was making sure they arrive on time. He turned around just to see Bokuto already missing. "Look for him. We'll go ahead", the third year doesn't give a thing looking for their high-maintenance captain and ace. "Are you going to play for Japan again? Kai-san", Bokuto called his name so casually. "Bokuto-san. I believe Sana-san is not working this time. I apologize for this", Akaashi bowed. "No worries. How do you know about him?", the man looked at his daughter trying to sneak taking one or two pictures of Bokuto. She planned to show it to Ushijima once she gets back to Miyagi. Kai was startled by how interested his daughter is in the wild-looking owl.

"I watched his game during the Inter-High and his plays are just so fun to watch", Miu smiled. Akaashi looked at the silenced Bokuto. Was he awestruck with the lady's appearance or sudden praise? "Akaashi, I forget to bring my knee pads with me. Let's go look for one right away", Bokuto dragged him. The two disappeared from the scene. "That was quite weird", Kai commented.

Sweet Shop Souvenir

The two continued walking and passed by a sweet shop. "Mochi", Kai wasn't able to eat mochi for a long time and suddenly craved for it.

"Kenma, what flavor do you want?".

"Anything is fine".

"At least have some effort to think of your preferred flavor".

Kai saw a high schooler with a sharp hairstyle. "Seriously, these youngsters defy the rule of having properly trimmed hair", Kai turned to the other side and saw someone with a blonde mohawk. He face-palmed and decided to ignore it. "Dad, they have matcha flavor. Want some?", Miu suggested. "Oh, I recommend that as well", a playful voice joined the conversation. Kai slightly raised his chin to look at the taller freshmen with ash grey hair. "Should I color my hair into a rainbow one?", he felt like competing with the different hairstyles he's seen lately.

"Free taste here", one of the shop servers offered. The yellow head with strands of black hair went close and stuffed it into his mouth. He suddenly went hungry after a long rally during practice. The mochi stretched and the rest of his teammates took a photo of it. "I want it as well", Yaku, the small libero took one as well. "This is our new sticky mochi", the server explained. Soon, the whole team took all the free taste freebies. "There's no more?", Kai was hoping to get one as well. "You got money, Dad", Miu grabbed some boxes and chose something colorful as well. "That's a lot", Kai noticed. "I want to buy some for grandma and grandpa. Also, the third year already retired from volleyball. I just want to do something to cheer them up", Miu gave a smile. "How can you be so kind?", Kai hugged her daughter which ended up having Nekoma's players looking at him like a creep.

"She's my daughter, okay", he clarified. "Did you let her wear something cute like that?", Kuroo smirked. "Well", Kai stepped back. "We need to buy something simpler than this", Miu chuckled and went to the cashier.

Shopping Center

Kai ran around trying out clothes and he looks good in everything. Miu clapped every time he goes out of the fitting room. Every clothes also fit the lady as long as they are in the smallest size. Kai ended up buying everything. "I don't need this much", Miu watched Kai carrying the shopping bags. "We still have five more shops to visit", the man receives stares from the people. Miu helped him with the disguise. They bought a wig and a pair of sunglasses. "Why do I have to receive these kind of stares whenever I am with you. Are you being bothered as well? Do you also feel creeped out", Kai felt defeated. Miu took some bags and led the way. "I don't care. I love how my dad would act that he like me and is having fun", Miu's back is facing his father.  "Plus, I don't get to spend a lot with you so everything we do is a memory I will etch in my heart", Miu gave a short giggle. She felt warm as she smile to see Kai's arm wrapped around her. "You're such a cry baby, Dad", Miu felt some drops of tears on her cheek. "Don't surprise me like that. I might have a heart attack", Kai sniffed. "Okay now, we have to get those shopping bags", Miu heard the bags fall when Kai hugged her.

"Here", they heard someone behind. He picked up the bags and handed them back. "Thank you", Kai looked at Daisho and nodded. "Yes, you're a role model", he stared intently at his black hair.
