"Thank you for this." Street says quietly as you finish loading his bike up into the back of your truck, rolling his shoulder with a wince as you both head to the doors to climb in. "I'm sorry for pulling you out of bed, but I didn't know when else to call."

"It's okay." You reply, closing the door after you and slipping your keys in the ignition. Glancing at him with a soft smile, you reach over and put your hand on his knee gently. "It'll never be too late to come get you, I'll always pick up."

He smiles, reaching for your hand and squeezing it in his own. "You're the best, you know that?"

"I do." You nod, twisting the key and hearing the engine roar to life as you put the truck in drive with a smile. But it's always nice to hear."
