The only sounds echoing around the armory walls are the soft thuds of metal against the tabletop as you place and replace pieces of your rifle, and your exhale of satisfaction every time you get a bit to fit just right. Street stands at the opposite side of the table and momentarily stalls the adjustments he's making to his own rifle to smile at your contented expression.

You feel his eyes on you, and his dimpled smile too. The attention makes you feel slightly self-conscious and you frown at him as you set down your tools. "Stop doing that."

He looks taken aback, but he humors you with a furrowed brow and a small smile. "Doing what?"

"That." You say pointedly, looking at him as he grows more confused. "Looking at me."

His eyes widens and his expression grows incredulous. "What, am I not allowed to look at you?!"

"You are." You refute, busying yourself with cleaning one of the chambers of your gun as you grow slightly sheepish. "Just not like that. Not here, at least."

He hmphs. You know he's not really unhappy with you, just humored by your moment of shyness. It's especially evident as he sets down his rifle and walks around the table to you, glancing over his shoulder before he leans against the table in a way that's entirely too close to be see as platonic should anyone come across you. His eyes flit up and down your face as you raise an eyebrow at him, but all he does is grin as he speaks. "Well, where can I then?"

Two can play at this. Pushing away your equipment, you face him with a grin and cock your head a little to the side. "Over drinks tonight? At DeLalo's?"

Now it's his turn to blush and he laughs. "Nice one."

"I know." You laugh too, reaching out to hook your finger into one of his belt loops and pull him into you a little more as you look at him expectantly. "Is that a yes?"

"You know it is." He leans up and you meet him halfway, pressing your lips to his as you both smile happily into the kiss.
