The first day I met him, I flipped. Honestly, one look at him and butterflies exploded. It's his eyes. Something in his eyes. They're sandy hued, and framed in the blackness of his lashes, they're dazzling. Absolutely breathtaking. But his attitude wasn't exactly the same..
Even so, I thought he was beautiful then. He had a face like that, with an elegant jaw line and natural dark hair styled in a messy wolf cut with yellow streaks throughout.
His features are strong, defined. A sharp nose, long, full lips, thick lashes and a beauty mark under the right side of his eye, a tiger tattoo extending from his neck to his shoulder and chest.
The only thing that makes him stand out from the other guys is the fact that he belongs in a gang. although he isn't as brash as one would expect from a gangster. It started with simple conversation.
I asked him if he wanted some food from my lunch because I noticed he didn't have any. His answer was an egotistical retort but his stomach didn't lie. From then on, it was like an unplanned meet up place at the rooftop to share lunch every break.
We were friends after that, but it wasn't just friendship. It was more than that.
He introduced me to the members of the gang. Some were tough, ruthless, others soft spoken. One of them was named hanma and he's the current head of the gang. He likes to show off the tattoo's on his hand whenever they had this test in faith ritual. Something I wouldn't bother getting myself into.
"You know what?" Hanma said. "I think you should join us." He looked directly at me and grinned widely.
"Me? Why do you think I would want to be part of your gang? I don't even know who you guys are. How can I help you?" My voice cracked on the last word.An echo of cackles and laughter spread through the room. Kazutora directed a cold glare at hanma before leading me away from that side of the gang.
"Sorry about that, (y/n). Hanma's just being bitchless again." Kazutora spoke while holding the door open for me. I walked past him.
"That's okay! I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less from someone like him." I chuckled slightly."Hanma' s always been like that. Just ignore him," Kazutora said. He locked the door and leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. He gave me a small smile. My heartbeat picked up pace. He smiled. He smiled. He smiled at me. A rare occasion he smiles..I admire it everytime I get to see It.
"Kazutora," I breathed out.
"Yes?" He raised his brow.
I took a deep breath in, "Can I ask you something?"
"Depends on the question."
"It's...personal."
He nodded in understanding, "Go ahead."
I paused, trying to find the right words. "Why...do you have that tattoo on your neck?"His brow furrowed slightly, "What does that mean?"
"Oh, no. That's not what I meant. I mean...why the tiger?" He pauses.
" because..Tora in my name, means tiger" he says nonchalantly.I could tell there's more to it. But how can I ask him without seeming too nosy?
"I'm sorry, I can't read minds," I say. I laugh nervously.
"Yeah, you probably couldn't." He looks away from me.I stare at him. The atmosphere between us changed. He seemed uncomfortable, embarrassed.
I feel bad for prying into his personal life, which obviously isn't mine to pry, but I can't help it. It's curiosity that drives me.
"I'll let you go back to whatever you were doing." I turn away from him and begin walking toward to the exit."Hey!" He catches up to me. "Come here." I walk over to where he's standing and wait patiently for him to speak again.
After a moment, he turns back towards me. "Look, it's hard to explain but it doesn't matter. This tattoo is a special thing I did in my life that actually made me happy with something for once. that's all I can say so..I hope your satisfied with this answer " A grin on my face spans from ear to ear.
