Chapter 4

Bang Chan's Pov:
"Sir, you are sure it'll be okay if you go alone?" Watson asked as I was about to step in my car.

"Dad might not like it but I can't accept her to show up because I haven't told her so I'll just tell dad she's busy at work." I said sitting in the car.

"Best of luck sir." Watson said as I thanked him.

I reached the hospital a little late because traffic was insane today. I grabbed the meal I cooked for dad and a new pajama set I bought for him and was headed towards his ward.

I opened the door to his ward and started blabbering as usual about work and all and then decided to tell him about y/n but it seems like he isn't curious about that.

"Dad also about y/n, she didn't come with me because -" I was cut off because dad continued.
"I already know Chan the reason why she didn't come with you." He said.
"You do?"
"Of course Chan because she is already here. She arrived before you idiot." He said with a laugh.

She's here? But?

"Sorry I had to attend the call, boss needed some information asap." A soft voice came as I heard the door opening behind me. It was y/n. She's here? But I never told that dad wanted to see us again. She looked as shocked as me.

"Here y/n, sit with Chan, I have to talk about something." He said.

Y/n's POV:
Chan? Here? Wait i never told him his dad wanted to see him. I was so shocked to see him here but nevertheless i sat next to him.

"I know you both really appreciate your jobs but wouldn't it be nice if I could attend the wedding before sleeping forever?" Chan's dad said.

"No uncle don't say like, you are not going anywhere anytime soon." I said because I hate it when someone brings up such circumstances.

"Dad, we still need some time to think if we really want to marry each other. It's not been that long since we've been in a relationship." Chan said. Ugh his tone is so cold it gives me chills.

"Chan, I've met y/n twice including today but she literally is the best match for you. She's everything your missing and she's so thoughtful and I don't think you'll be happier with anyone else than y/n."

"Dad it's cheesy." Chan said but I was on cloud 9 after hearing my praises.

"Uncle i don't know about our match but thank you so much, even my own dad won't praise me that much." I said blushing while Chan gave me wtf is wrong with you look.

"Dad give us a week to discuss some things and we'll tell you what we think." Chan and uncle was about to say something but he just nodded as Chan got up.

"You should rest now, let's go y/n I'll drop you ." He said and left the room.

"He's a little like that don't mind him." His dad said.
"I know uncle. Anyway take care and I'll meet you soon." I said with a smile and followed Chan.

"Christopher" i said as soon as we sat in the car.
"What did you just say about responding in a week?" I was talking about the wedding thing.

"Nothing. I'll just say we broke up." He said starting the car.
"No Christopher."
"What else you want me to say? You've agreed to marry me?" He said.
"I mean no you can't say that either." I said throwing my head in hands.

Chan slightly looked at me through the corner of his eyes, I promise he did.
"Don't worry about dad, I'll surely figure out a way." He said.

I remained silent. The whole way back I was quite, too quite actually because all I could think about was how his dad has a short life span left and I don't really wanna break his heart anymore.

"Here's your office." He said.
I got off and he left and then it striked me.
"how does he know about my office?" I was confused but again the other thoughts suppressed that question.

Two days passed since the incident and I just growing more restless so I just turned on my tv. There was an ad about a new drama. The drama was about fake marriage.

"Fake marriage?" I said to myself.
What if I? Oh no no but what if?

I called Jeongin and told him about the idea.
"Y/n I won't really recommend this, it'll just hurt your feelings if your little crush on him started growing while your married. He's cold and emotionless and leave you in the end when work's done." That what he said.

I put down the call and stood near the balcony.
"Jeongin's advise makes sense but I don't think I wanna follow that. But like always if I end being like he always warns me about how I'll end up like then he's gonna scold me again for going him AGAIN."
Oh god this so hectic.

After a full 10 minutes debate with myself I just took the big step and dialed Chan's number.

"Hello" ughh chills, he's so cold for what.
"Christopher, Can we meet?" I said.
"Look if your worried about meeting dad in a few days , you don't have to, I'll tell him we broke up"
"CHRISTOPHER NO, you're not doing that. Let's just meet tomorrow at Lily's cafe."
"Lily's cafe?"
"The cafe you and I always go to dude."
"Okay see you tomorrow at 5 pm"
And that's it he cut the call. A part of me relaxed but now atleast I knew what I was doing so I just ordered myself my comfort food and started a movie.

Bang Chan's Pov:
To be honest I was worried about her. No it's not like her I like her or something. It's the fact that the girl who's been talking in 2x since we met suddenly went quite on way back but i guess she's back to her original form.

I unknowingly chuckled thinking all this when Watson asked,
"Sir? Did you just laugh?" He was shocked.

"No, you're hallucinating."
