I WOKE UP TO THE SOUND OF MY HOUSE'S PHONE RINGING.

I checked the time.

3:47am

"Hello?" I called groggily, picking it up.

"Alexia i-is that you?" Eddie called through the phone.

"Yes, Eddie it's me." I rubbed my eyes. "What are you doing calling me at this hour?" I asked.

"I-I just wanted t-to say to you-" He sniffled. "That I am s-sorry. And i-if you ever want to leave me, you s-should go ahead and do it." He sniffled again.

"Eddie what are you talking about?" I asked.

"I-I-" He paused. "I'm sorry. Goodnight."

"No Eddie don't-" He closed the phone. "For fuck's sake." I put the phone down.

I ran around the house in a hurry, bumping into every corner, door and furniture, since I was still half asleep, a list of profanities escaping my mouth.

I put on a pair of sweats, wore a hoodie and tied my Converse shoes real quick, rushing outside, barely stopping to take my keys.

I rode my bicycle as quickly as I could to my boyfriend's trailer, and used my set of keys to open.

His uncle was not here and I looked around for any sign of Eddie.

"Eddie!" I yelled, before entering his room. "Oh Eddie."

My heart broke at the sight of my boyfriend sprawled out on the bed, his face buried in a pillow he had around his legs and arms.
His hair was all over the place, his shirt was all wrinkly and lifted up slightly. One of his sweats' legs was up to his knee and he was missing a sock.

His room was stinking of weed and there was a half empty bottle of whiskey on his bedside table.

He lifted his face up and looked at me, his dark eyes and tear stained cheeks now fully visible.

"Alexia?" He sniffled, standing up so quickly he almost fell back down. "What are you doing here?" He asked, wiping his eyes and fixing his clothes in a hurry.

"No. You don't get to ask me questions sir." I pointed an accusing finger at him and pushed him down on the bed. "What the hell happened?" I sat down next to him.

He immediately broke into sobs and fell onto me, pushing me down, as he clinged onto me like a koala.

I run my hands through his hair, caressing him gently.

"Shhh." I muttered. "It's okay. Everything's okay. I'm here. Shhh." I reassured.

"I don't wanna lose you." He muttered in-between sobs, clutching my body tighter in his arms.

"You won't baby, you won't." I said, lifting his body up, and embracing him as well, him burying his face in the crook of my neck.

"But I'm just a freak. I don't have anything to offer to you. I'm worthless." He muttered. "You deserve the world and I can't give you any of that. I am an ugly, stupid piece of-"

"Why don't you stop right there, because I'm starting to get angry." I cut his rumbling off. "What the hell are you on about? Eddie, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. If anything, I am not enough for you."

"Don't be stupid-"

"Says the one who's been talking shit about himself for the past five minutes." I stated, pulling his face out of my hair, my hands holding onto each of his cheeks, so I could look at him. "You are the most precious thing in the whole wide world. And if anyone, ever dares to say the opposite they'll have to deal with me. Including you. Alright?" I pressed my lips against his forehead.

He raised one of his hands and placed it against mine that was on his cheek.

"Okay." He muttered, sniffling once more.

"Good." I smiled, watching as he smiled as well, turning his head and placing a small kiss inside my palm.

"Can we cuddle now?" He asked, making puppy eyes at me.

"Of course." I grinned, as he fell into my arms, throwing me back down on the bed.

We cuddled for God knows how long.

The sound of  Eddie's light snoring was the only thing that could be heard around the trailer.

I smiled down at my boyfriend's fragile figure, as he sighed in his sleep, readjusting his grip on me.

That kid is gonna be the death of me.
