-PRESENT TIME-
"I still think we should go back to savannah." Tyler objected all of us, I rested my head on my arms staring at Aiden.
"...Alright, let's take some time to think on it again and have a group vote later tonight." Ashlyn tapped her foot under the table.
"Why not after school?" Tyler begged, "Because I have ballet class today." Ashlyn told her after school subject, "So what? Skip it." he ordered. "Uh, Ty... We have stuff to do after school too. You have baseball practice and I have a mechanics meeting." Taylor reminded him.
"...I um, I have to help with the flower shop today..." Logan spoke, "I kind of have (After school subject) too..." I remembered. "See? They're busy too."
"Even with what's happening, we can't just neglect school and our future. You need baseball. Let's just wait till tonight-" "We aren't going to have a 'future' if we're dead!" Tyler gritted his teeth.
"It's not just our future. If we drop everything to focus on fantasy-like events we can't prove, we're going to end up in a psyche ward. Do you think that's going to make it easier or harder for all of us to have meetings during the day?" Ashlyn furrowed her eyebrows.
"She's got a point, y'know. Generally we're what people would call 'crazy'." Aiden lifted his finger and spun it around.
"Whatever." Tyler grabbed his tray and stomped away then spins around and glared at us while dragging Taylor along with him.
'Ugh, this has been going on since forever. And usually it ends up being Tyler who's annoying'
I groaned and Ben patted my head.
Aiden, Ben and I followed Ashlyn off the bus at her house, "What are you doing?" she stopped mid-way down the steps. "Coming over." I grinned "I figured it'd just be faster to get off here." Aiden said.
"You know I have to leave in an hour right?" Ashlyn reminded us, "We thought we'd tag along this time. If there's an emergency, we'll know how to get there, right?" Ashlyn scowled at us for minutes.
"I'm home." Ashlyn opened the door, "How was school?" her mom said she was sitting on the couch eating popcorn with her dad they both had green eyes while the mom had Ashlyn's hair.
"Aiden and Ben are over? I thought you had ballet today?" me and Aiden waved to her, "Yeah, about that; Aiden and Ben want to see where the studio is located. Do you mind if they come along?" stuffing her hand into popcorn.
"Come along?" her mom repeated, "Yeah." her parents eyes widened and nodded to each other her mom grabbed Ashlyn's shirt and hulled her over the couch, "Give us a second." her mom ruffled her hair.
"Sure." Aiden thumbed up, I snickered. I could hear faint whispering and talking but could make out a bit of sentences "This is boring" Aiden said softly, "I agree" I said to him "Let's go over there!" and with that he grabbed my arm and pulled me behind the couch.
"What are we talking about?" Aiden asked crouching, everyone went silent. "Sorry, got bored waiting." I smiled to them.
