My chest was thumping loudly, my head was pounding, almost every muscle in my body was going to give up. The crunching leaves below our feet, the dark sky, trees are all blurry.
"Time?!" Ashlyn asked, a girl with green eyes, and long braided orange hair was in front of all of us. "8 minutes!" a boy with beautiful blue eyes with blonde hair named Logan answered, I was between the twins, Taylor and Tyler with brown eyes and brown hair. Hearing the phantom behind us made my adrenaline pump.
"The graveyard!" Ashlyn shouted, 'Finally' I thought. with every last energy, I ran faster, to reach the gate. "Bet 10 dollars we'll die before we get in," Aiden said to my right with brightly dyed hair and red eyes. I looked over and smiled at him, "I'll take that bet" with confidence in my voice.
We all made it barely enough to get away, Ashlyn skidded to the button waiting for all of us. I took a huge leap out of fear hoping to get in faster and not let the phantom grab my leg. "Close the gate, Close the gate!" Tyler ordered, Ashlyn slammed on the button and got into position. luckily I had my bat if it made it through because the GODAMN gates were too slow!
When the phantom was close to getting in the door shut in time, it kept banging on the metal loudly as our group took a big sigh of relief.
"Alright, let's head to the bus." Ashlyn sighed.
