Once I got on the bus Aiden immediately started talking to people across from him, I tried to apologize for his behavior while Ben pulled him back.
Your POV
'It's so noisy in here' looking out the window, I heard a noise like a facepalm behind me, I turned and see Ben prying Aiden away from the window. I too was putting my head on the window...Ben pulled my head back from it. Aiden's head then snapped towards someone, I also made eye contact with them. It was a girl with very long braided hair that was orange, freckles all over her and somehow was hesitant to come to sit down next to me.
"Hi!" Aiden came up and shouted to her 'Is she new?' I smiled.

She stumbled from the close connection onto my lap, "Is that your house? What's up with the whole bus graveyard' thing?" He asked her. "It looks kind of creepy..." I commented, she got off of me and told us "It's a junkyard with used buses..." still shaky from the connection.
"That's it?" he asked "Yeah?" she sat up, "Well that's disappointing." dropping his excited face. He slumped back into his seat "I was hoping for some kind of 'lore' or 'paranormal jazz'."
I stifled a laugh and looked over my seat "Maybe some 'monsters' or a 'white masked killer?'." I made a surprised face and we both laughed for some time then stopped.
There was so much silence I couldn't take it...she wanted to reach for her phone then stopped at the sound of his voice "Anyway" he started. "I'm Aiden!" launching up from his seat "Aiden sit down!" I warned, and he pointed to me than Ben "That's my friend Y/N and that's my cousin Ben."
I waved to her "We just moved here a week or so ago from Virginia." I told her "Can't remember what town it was though." Aiden talked after me "Oh hey, we live just a house down from you! Since we live so close, we should hang out often" he said chattering.
"It would be so much fun! I am best at sleepovers" smiling at her, she put her hands in our faces saying "Sorry, nothing personal but, I'm a bit tired and not in much of a conversation mood." she apologized.
Aiden and I grinned at each other lowering our eyes, it's fine, I get it. You're just shy right?" Aiden asked mischievously, I waved my hand at her in a 'forget about it' way " It's alright we're good at talking, so it'll be fine." I reassured her.
She then looked at both of us confused.
When we got off the bus, we kept talking next to her shoulder about what we could do together and that she's too shy to say anything.
She simply ignored us as we went inside, "Woah, this is a small school." Aiden wowed. Halfway their Ben pulled us back by our collar. He pointed to a door noting OFFICE on it, "Oh right, we got to pick our schedules-" we looked back the girl that had disappeared "-up" Aiden finished.
He stared at the hallway and began to laugh louder, I just stood there smiling knowing 'This is fine'.
"She's fast." Aiden chuckled, Ben opened the door for us, and we walked in.
